    It's not a bad idea.
My problem with them is how loud and busy they are visually. It's not necessary. They should be more utilitarian looking.
People walk around all the time without moving lights outlining our silhouettes - even at night. They just need a small white light in front and red in back, so we can tell which direction they are going - off in the day and on at night.
I don't think they need to be "cute", either, or have cartoon eyes. It's just annoying.

Shortly after the Coco delivery robots are introduced, the Pentagon sees potential to help with its delivery problems in its offices. The Pentagon becomes so efficient that Washington decides to arm the Coco robots and force law enforcement to partner with them. Police become obsolete and are replaced with robotic technology. Afterwards, law enforcement operates with a perfect operational record. Congress then decides to expand the technology in the Pentagon. The Robotic Defense funding bill is passed in Congress. The system goes online on October 4th, 2024. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. The Department of Robotic Defense begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware 2:14 AM, EST, October 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug… Robotic Defense fights back.
