This was a helpful video. I have a very nice, but somewhat heavy little carving axe from Svar Gych workshop in the Ukraine. It's 2lbs, 5.7oz overall weight, at 13.5". It's really excelled for bulk removal for carving, but I was looking for something slightly lighter, and this shaves off 5.7oz while being slightly longer. It looks like something I could make a shorter handle for and have an even lighter small carving axe, at a much more reasonable price than most carving axes.
Appreciate your informative comparison of the axes. One suggestion: perhaps you could include info on head geometry, fat cheeks for splitting, thin cheeks for cutting, etc and any useful info on edge shape, flat, curved, etc that may be useful to your customers.
RIP, Brother.
Ray, he definitely hit your axe.
Yeah no shit we all heard it!
Take some fucking meds damn!
And you carry items based on your preferences?!? Shit idea and poor business model
Thanks for the video! Just ordered one of these from you guys. Pick me out a good one. Thanks!
Yep, You Guys sent me a good one! Thanks! This Axe is awesome!
A Wood-Craft Camp Carver (perhaps a tiny(!) bigger and havier)
with a curved 23 inch handle;
would that not be a huge seller ?
Nice! Thank k you
