That will just make highlights, midtones and shadow similar but there is more into cinematic color grading, first of all need a film emulation and work on not only the hms tones but also the gamma and contrast after that the color skin.

Premiere Pro for the win! Slowly improving my skills. Random question but I keep struggling with voiceovers when i hit the record audio it starts then says finishing a second later. Any idea what could be causing this?

It depends on the accuracy of the video that comes straight out of the camera, but I always recommend to make some minor tweaks if necessary
