i hope you all know people have their own method for vocals, these are more or less incorrect, alot of the "lil peep vocal" comes from reverb, and frequency layering, meaning either the high or low is panned to one side, giving it that hissing effect

I would say have a main vocal layer and two layers of you singing in a higher and lower pitch as background vocals. You can do that for the chorus or some parts of the song, sometimes even raw vocals in the background sound cool

Hey, if you are only using the Stock Preset that comes with the pack you don't need anything else. However you'll get the best sound with the Waves Version.

hey just questions as I listened your tracing mixing 1:50 is out of tune? right? how do you fix the trailing out of tuneness he has in your version? also you should do peep as well
Yeah, it's mainly because all the vocal layers are in one layer in the raw vocal file. So it's basically impossible for autotune to know what to correct.
Pretty sure the higher end autotune plugin can actually tune multiple different overlaying vocals even with them on one WAV. It doesnt seem possible but im pretty sure it can.

not bad but the og mix feels a lot more desynced/doubled and I think that is key to the sound

Hey, yeah it works really well with stock fl plug-ins. It sounds extremely similar, just a minor amount less clear, which is honestly only noticeable on my headphones.

Bro you’re an amazing producer and I subbed but the channel strip and amount of compression jfc, watch the layering of compressors I know their most sound is hella compressed - but I would’ve redone the FLOW OF the channel strip - of the EQ, compression, etc.

Don't worry bro, maybe you can learn a couple things from my videos or other peoples stuff. I started the same way, I learned from people for over a year to get a half decent mix and i'm still improving every month. Also, the mix and master helps a song but doesn't make it. Work on your flows, melodies, lyrics and all that other stuff and once you got the money, you'll make great sounding music fasho
