On Saturday 25th August, the guitar legend Slash, frontman Myles Kennedy and their band The Conspirators played a blistering show at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, and Moshcam was there to exclusively film every second of it.
Aided and abetted by frontman Myles Kennedy and their band The Conspirators (guitarist Frank Sidoris, bassist Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz), the iconic axeman delivered a searing set featuring Guns ‘N’ Roses classics like ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, ‘Paradise City’ and ‘Nightrain’, Velvet Revolver’s choicest cuts ‘Sliver’ and ‘Fall To Pieces’ and stand-out Slash moments like ‘Halo’ and ‘You’re A Lie’ from his new album ‘Apocalyptic Love’.

Dude is perpetually 35. I met a guy who looked like he was 35, covered in prison tats. Rival prison gangs which was really odd. Scary looking guy. The guy was super cool, we chilled and talked for like 20 minutes and he told me that he was 55. That he used to be a heroin addict and that heroin preserves the body which is why he looked so young. I suspect that Slash did enough heroin in the 80's to slow down his aging process.

after many many tries, this became Slash's real band after Guns n Roses.
There is no question that Slash is one of the best guitarists in rock music right now and it's a pleasure to see him enjoying the music in this band and making a huge leap in knowledge again.
I am sure this formation will live on for a long time.
Feels like Slash is only now reaching his prime as a guitarist. Since he went sober he has just been getting better imo lol
Dude, there's 16 yr olds all over that can play as good as Slash. Thousands on YT alone. Slash is just incredibly successful. That isn't proof of being a rarity in technical skill. It's just proof he was in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. That's how rock legends are born. Slash is a pretty standard all around good guitarist. He is efficient in doing well what he's trying to do and that's all one needs to be. Rock 'n' roll don't require anyone be an "Einstein", which is to be one in a billion. Rock 'n' roll consists of literally almost zero savants.

It's a little bit of a bs comment, its not luck at all to get to where he was at all, it was talent! Sure there's more people technically as good or better these days, even some teenagers. But remember slash wrote those incredible guitar solo's in the best GnR songs... none of them made all these amazing riffs and solos. Even Slash himself has admitted his stuff was stripped down rock n roll - There's beauty in simplicity sometimes.

I think he sings well and can hit the notes and all, but after a while it gets pretty boring. It's pretty much a resonating head voice with little variation.
The joy of music is seen in the face of all the members of this band. They all absolutely love what they are doing and it's a treasure to behold this energy.

This and Made in Stoke are Slash’s peak performance eras in my opinion. His technique, his energy, his tone, EVERYTHING totally tops off what he did in the 80s and 90s and early 2000’s. Truly a legend.

No chance, his live at the Ritz performances in the late 80s blow this away. He's playing remarkably well for a guy his age with all that he's been through but nothing beats the 80s.

This group should have been bigger than they were. Very few bands in recent years could come close to their talent and showmanship.
Absolute best tone Slash ever had. Incredible, he was at his peak here. He’s still incredible of course, but I think this is the pinnacle of his playing and showcasing all his projects together in one venue.

Never cared much for Guns and Roses. Slash started to grow on me when I happened to watch an interview of him a few years back. Underneath the hat and hair he gave me the impression of being really intelligent and well spoken. He can kill it on the guitar as well. Very talented, yet underrated. So glad I ran across this concert! The whole band kicks ass!!!

@@StealthBeeKid Perhaps, but as a guitarist, I know that less is often more. Guitar snobs are a minority. Fast and technical 0 times out of 10 invokes as much emotion as a smooth, slow, soulful lead. Sounding good should be the goal of musicians, not unnecessary complication for bragging rights. I don't need to decipher a complex mathematical algorithm to appreciate a song. Neither do 99% of people. That said, Slash is NOT underrated. He's right where he belongs, as the most well know guitar player (by name) in existence. Prove me wrong.

Myles is a fantastic performer/ front man. Great vocalist He does not hold back and gives everything he has to the audience. A part of rock will die when he leaves our planet ...I will see them again next time they visit. No matter how much we already know to expect amazing talent from slash he still manages to play at an even higher level ..... he blew me away at one concert one night so much that I felt like I had been run over by a car ...it was too much for me. I just shook my head from side to side unable to absorb process

I was 16 years old, front row, watching GnR blow Motley Who? off the stage, as the opening act, in support of, Appetite For Destruction. Absolutely epic! Hands down, one of the greatest there will ever be.

I will say, Myles Kennedy has the best dynamic voice in Rock & Roll today as far as I'm concerned. I wish he would open up those vocal cords in Alter Bridge a bit more, but he does show off the power of his voice while playing with Slash & Crew. And as always, Slash is a stellar guitarist that plays with heart and soul.. something many lack. It's a testament to Myles that he can sing Scott Wieland and Axl Rose's parts pretty d@mn well. The entire band sounds phenomenal, and I 'm glad I started listening to them a few years ago.

Yea, this whole concert is flipping solid. The Conspirators are so great too, all of em. Absolutely love these guys, and slash, well you know, he’s slash. As a bass player, I respect Todd Kerns a lot.
dude has some vocals he has a future after Slash starts a new gig but the drummer is over looked he does a lot with that little drum set and that is cool no flash with 10 bass drums lol
