Looking forward to these! Any advice on a zealot ranged weapon for dealing with massed crusher/mauler packs in damnation? I've been running a Dclaw, crit, shroudfield build to try something different from the FotF builds that I've been using for the past 100 hours, but it absolutely fails when those packs show up. Revolver just doesn't have enough ammo per mag to deal with them, and bolter just doesn't feel good, and requires precision shots with it's annoyingly terrible handling and recoil, while also dodging to proc duellist.
Your best option for ranged armor pen is sadly the Columnus Autogun with FoF. If you want to switch it up your other choices are gonna be Bolter/Revolver/Shredder Autopistol, but they're not as good as the FoF build so you'll need to supplement it with a melee weapon that can also deal with armor (or just trust in your team to handle it for you)
@@jtcLIVE I'd go with the boltgun as it has full auto in a pinch although the revolver is very handy for slick swapping and you can emergecy reload a single round to cut down on the time. Both are also good at taking out snipers at long range which the Autogun isn't, so you can fill in as designated sniper remover if the team is a random lobby group lacking a vet with an MG12 or similar. The Autopistol is surprisingly good at ranged shots, I find it hard to reliably delete crushers with it but it may be just me having poor aim for crits in a stress situation. :)

I'm just so tired of only playing FoF, and want to try other weapons as well, and the Dclaw synergizes well with shroudfrield crits and backstabs to instantly get shroudfield back... just it's so absolutely useless vs maulers and chargers. Revolver works well to deal with armor, just it doesn't have the mag size to deal with massed armor groups, and I haven't had luck getting good at using a bolter vs armor. How is the shredder pistol good vs armor? I haven't seen any blessing that'd make it penetrate carapace, and its damage vs carapace is pathetic.
lol thats what I was thinking, should hold off on this till new weapons since they are coming so soon + to give more time to let the weapons cook as their might be balance changes with weapons
@@DaemonPrince the first video will not be covering all weapons. Each video is covering a group of weapons. Such as combat axes. So unless the new weapons released belong to the same specific category that is being covered, there isnt an issue.

@@RPGandFPS i assume the changes are how you acquire/create weapons. Not changing the weapons themselves. Its possible there will be something changed that requires altering the video but Id be surprised.
They confirmed we're getting new Weapons! Bolt Pistol, Shockmauls, 2h Pickaxes for Ogryn and a double barreled shotgun! I still wanna see either a melta or plasma pistol personally, though
@@jtcLIVE Bolt Pistol!!! This will be my new jam I think. I'd love for FS to add a Plasma Pistol too, we know they already modeled the Melta way back so they should release it.
I don’t know if this is lore-friendly, but I’d love an Ogryn with steel claws that kind of plays like a brawler version of the Slayer in V2. I just wanna punch all the baddies.
