Okay, we can still be friends haha. And good point about the GR sometimes being "too discreet". I have been shooting on the street alongside with friends who were using just a GR and they were confronted more often than me because they only have the small GR with them. I often carry a bigger camera around my neck even while I am using my GR. It helps looking more "serious" or less creepy lol. And I just love using the GR alongside my other camera because switching between them is a breeze.
I was about to buy a Ricoh GR III this month but I heard they are going to release the GR IV next year, possibly next spring. I am still wondering if I should wait or not.
It's impossible to adjust the snap focus distance directly, you can only do it in a two step gesture and you also need to look at the screen to check that the correct distance is chosen...I do not understand such an oversight...the snap focus distance would deserve a dedicated rotating switch.
It kinda does! Instead of Snap Focus use Snap Focus Priotity - you can change distance with front dial, and choose between 3 predefined depths of Field with the circle dial on back
What does "Z" stands for? I guess "S" stands for "Sanity" and that's the GR with all flaws. Your buddy described it very well as it is. The first show of this series I saw, I thought "S" stands for snap shooting. Maybe you talk about the rating, but I didn't understand or listen. Thanks for your effort. I'm looking forward to the following episodes.

The GRIII really is a double edged sword, it’s been my favorite camera for a few years now. It’s an S for me for sure ! Interesting video, thanks!

I agree!!! With the awkward two button process I usually accidentally put the camera into macro mode 🤦🏻♂️

I have tried a camera without a viewfinder and I just can't... I need it! Otherwise I would love to have a GR because of its size and picture quality.
