@@nativestrong7253I still have my canon 5d. I saved up for it in my early 20’s and it was such an amazing experience. I had it paired with the 24-70 L 2.8 and that combo made me so much money and took some amazing photos. I switched to Fuji and sold all my canon gear except the 5d and I’m glad I didn’t. The Nikon zf is giving me images that rival the 5d colors, but I still plan on getting a 50 for the canon and start shooting with it again for fun.
Absolutely loved watching this! Incredible talent and skill-he makes street photography look so effortless. The photos captured the soul of Chicago perfectly. Great fun to watch him in action!
Oh man, what a ride. One of my favorite episodes, he is such a cool guy, love his vibe, the way he just makes a b line over to the subject, blasts them and then floods them with compliments to take any tension away, definitely learned a lot. Thanks Paulie.
What a sense of humor and way to interact with the people. Great images too, its amazing to see we all share that self doubt about the quality of our images. Great episode!
First thought: never heard of this guy but I’ll give it a few minutes and 52 minutes later I’m wishing it went on longer 😊Another great episode and very talented photographer.
Timing of this episode couldn’t be better. Just got home last night from 5 days in Downtown CHI, photos everyday … temps in the teens. Awesome episode, Paulie!
Mr. Plunkett, what a inspiration to photography. I have a Canon 7D mark II and I can't part with it too. your respect to the community is why you get the image. you have good vibs
First, great time with you 2 guys in Chicago this week. One of my favorite cities. Second, C.P., I am 63 and just getting started with street photography so I get a cramp when I bend down to tie my shoe 😋. I hope I can make it a few blocks before I need to take a nap.
Holy shit his setup trips me out. I rock the exact same 😂 even the point and shoot. It was my dad’s old one that got me into photography 2 years ago. I’m feeling very inspired today wtf
Good to see someone making great photos on the affordable gear! Although I have to have a 25mp camera for the odd paid gig, I much prefer to shoot on my 5D or a300 8-12mp is the sweet spot.
Most photographers on RUclips talk too much. There is too much difference between what they say and the quality of their photos. I believe that photographers should express their photography itself.
when you coming back to Chicago? I would love to hang for a while. I'm a retired wedding photographer now dabbling in street photography with 99% tri-x 400, on a Leica MP with 35mm 1.4 Voigtlander Nokton classics and my Nikon fm2 with several focal lengths.
Art galleries, freelancing, selling pictures that could potentially have any sort of journalistic or documentary value, compiling their works onto books, partnerships in social media with brands, businesses and sometimes even tourism. There are so many ways, mostly isn’t down to one thing they do but more a collective. Also some have either some sort of job or passive income means in order to finance their passion. I am for instance far from being a street photographer on the level of these guys but I earn my living through tattooing and working a full time job. I think it boils down to how hard you want to make the art form you chose.
Getting a foot cramp from a simple stretch is SUCH a relatable vibe. The 5D/7D era was just peak Canon, props to rockin it in 2024.
No camera has been able to replicate those OG 5D colors
I still shoot on a Mark II and a Mark III for all my stuff

I miss my 5d mII, it got stolen in DC. My wife gifted me a miv a 5 years ago and I've had a tough time needing to replace it
Paulie ask the best questions but never spoils the flow of the subject
one thing i dislike about street photography is that they disregard people's religions due to ignorance, making people so uncomfotable.
You were “secretly hoping for a blind person to run into a wall?” Yeah, class act, man. Real class act.
This guy's energy is so contagious. Great episode.
I can’t stand him
@@atticustay1nope. He seems nervous and insecure so he tries to overcompensate. Reminds me too much of myself 😂
A master class in how to be charming, talk to camera, and take great photos at the same time.
Happy B-day C.P.
Good to see you here on the best Street Photography Channel ever 🎉
I need to know more about that green jacket and sunglasses, giving off Pierce Brosnan vibes🧑🏽🍳
Gotta be a good day when Paulie drops 🙏🏼
Absolutely loved watching this! Incredible talent and skill-he makes street photography look so effortless. The photos captured the soul of Chicago perfectly. Great fun to watch him in action!
The soul of Chicago? On the mag mile? Are you from here?
Thanks for the love Chris and Paulie ❤❤

The dog in the side car at 33:58 is the same one that Amado shot in his Walkie Talkie (4:39)!
We got walkie talkie historians now!
‘I’ve never seen a Corgi that isn’t having the time of its life.’ 😂 I love this guy!!
When he gets more comfortable in the last third of the video and starts sharing his philosophy on photography it's actually really interesting
What a sense of humor and way to interact with the people. Great images too, its amazing to see we all share that self doubt about the quality of our images. Great episode!
What a cool guy! Totally agree that encounters can be so rewarding even if the resulting photo is nothing special
First thought: never heard of this guy but I’ll give it a few minutes and 52 minutes later I’m wishing it went on longer 😊Another great episode and very talented photographer.
Plunkett! An absolute great human being, making the best out of the tools he carries!
Thanks for sharing, P!
CP is the best! Such an amazingly fun human to be around! Great video Paul
Your content is so refreshingly good!
broo this has been one of my favorite episodes , awesome vibe from CP, makes you want to pick up the camera and go walk outside!!!
Taking photos with a flash on the streets is new to me. I love the idea and realize that its been around for a while. Brilliant!
I love your videos ❤🎉 Nicely done! Always a bit of inspiration!
Great video! I LOVE Chicago and do not get down there enough. Happy birthday CP and thank you Paul for this one!!
It is a good day when a Paulie video drops!
Great episode as always Paulie. You have a gift for interviewing.
Timing of this episode couldn’t be better. Just got home last night from 5 days in Downtown CHI, photos everyday … temps in the teens. Awesome episode, Paulie!
the philosophies in this video, specifically with the sports analogy but not just that, is very much appreciated. thank you for another great episode
27:26 I love that mom called to greet him 🖤 happy birthday 🎉
Great episode, such a charismatic person!
What a cool dude and photographer. These Walkie Talkies are street gold. Appreciate you and your work Paulie.
Happy birthday C.P. ! 😊📸
Great video.
The eye of the photographer. Nice perspective 🤙
20 years later and you see the school homie randomly on the street! Small world.
Wheeeeyyyyyyy, so happy to see this pop up in my subs!
Happy birthday C.P. Celebrated 76 yesterday with roughly 58 of that shooting pro :)
happy birthday C.P.!

This was awesome. Proud to call this city Home
MY GUY! Hitting the streets sounding like Tony Robbins! 🥶
CP is SO entertaining!
This guy is chill as hell. Love his style.
Great walkie. Learned so much and loved the way CP said thank you. Respect in every encounter that rocks.
LOVED this episode and photographer!
“Are you famous?” “Sure.” So good.
"No, that's my daughter!" 🤣
Yo can you have this guy multiple times cuz he's f****** hilarious
Happy birthday CP.
What a good vibes man!! Wish you all the BEST.
I've been feening for another walkie talkie ngl
Loving the Chi Town Walkie Talkies!
una masterclass cada video, motivacion, felicidad, inspiracion, arte, entretenimiento, no pares, este canal llegara al millon dentro de poco!!
Paulie's trying to keep up with the birthday boy. So much life and energy.
A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR A WALKIE TALKIE
Like every day 😂
It’s also incredible way of starting conversations
Saying 'perfect' for them really got me. 🤣
Holy shit his setup trips me out. I rock the exact same 😂 even the point and shoot. It was my dad’s old one that got me into photography 2 years ago. I’m feeling very inspired today wtf
Bros chill af
What an awesome guy!!📸
I feel seen with his camera/lens combo 🙏 canon dslr lets goo, they last forever!
A video of worthy knowledge
Still have a 5D and 40 2.8...Been thinking of taking it out again for a while
Good Walkie Talkie, enjoy watching. My Question is What do these people do for income???
Happy Birthday!
Chicago will always have a part of my heart.
Good to see someone making great photos on the affordable gear! Although I have to have a 25mp camera for the odd paid gig, I much prefer to shoot on my 5D or a300 8-12mp is the sweet spot.
Always wanted for a 5D badly for years. It rendered pictures very film like.
Paulie would you ever consider doing a UK/Europe edition of Walkie Talkie?
fun ep!
Canon 7D and 430EX II,
Legend never dies.
I'm with a 5D mark III in 2025 and I'm the most happiest Man in the World.
chicago represent! love to see it
Dudes been my fave one yet!
Happy birthday!
i use the same setup so its great to see how others use it
8:35 Sounds like a typical Chicago activity to do with coworkers... 😆
Happy Birthday
33:58 those are the duo from Amado's video at 4 min 40 sec !!! lol
HB CP 🎉
This video is rad!
His flash looks so subtle I wonder his flash settings
This guy is the proof that gear doesn't matter 👌🏾
Canon 7d and 7d mark ii made my business 🔥🔥
Had to pause this video to go and shoot. Really dug his attitude. Also, he kinda looks like Jim Root from Slipknot.
i hope you know how helpful these are for inspiration
this guy has a high hit rate, good pics
This walkie talkie alone could stop vaping 😭
I have a 7D, used for shooting many festivals and music gigs (especially one of Ed Sheeran's last small gigs).
Great kit. I could see how 24mm (38mm) works for this kind of street photography. I did with 35mm in Chicago and it was OK.
I have techinical question or your videos of this walkie talkie are made with the osmo?
Cool guy, great street shooter!
Great video. Thanks
my photos go down in value over time, must be doing it wrong :))) the bush photo is very good btw
Where do we find these zines he mentions?
Loved this! Is it common to keep the flash on the camera unlike Gilden and Fink?

How the hell did you get Pierce Brosnan to make a movie with you? 😊 Jake.
how do street photographers earn a living

Needless to say, great episode once again. But what is the camera strap he's got? Looks v comfy
this episode had some comedy to it lol
