MillRight Carve King 2 CNC Setup and First Run

  • This is the MillRight Carve King 2 CNC machine. It is a powerful unit designed to custom cut through several material types. Today I finish getting the CNC setup and run my first project. There are two versions of the Carve King 2 One is the kit that you put together yourself and the other is a pre assembled kit. I recommend the unit that is already assembled because there are a lot of parts.

      There's been a bit of a learning curve but I'm thoroughly enjoying working on the CNC.

    I feel you could push that CNC a lot quicker than that 🙂 very nice machine

      I believe you're right. This is my first CNC machine. And I was just testing out its capabilities on a slower speed.

      So far it has worked well. A little finicky on the lower part of the Z Threaded screw.

    $233 for 12 months of use. As a hobbyist, this is a bit over the top in terms of software subscriptions.... are there free or low-cost alts with a similar featureset?
