    You should consider looking into methyl b9 & methyl b12. If you have the MTHFR mutation you need methylation. This info was great.

    Whats the minimal Dose of Ritalin if i Stack it with Saffron and many other supplements?
    I neuer tryed Saffron but Tyrosin plus other aminoacids and Bioactive Multivitamins are not suffizient for me.
    Or it the a reasearch chemicle witch could do the job of Ritalin?

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  5 месяцев назад +1

      There is no "minimal dosage". But there are standard adult recommended dosages for each supplement.
      Some can use the stack I describe in this video without prescription stimulants and it takes care of their ADHD symptoms.
      Saffron and Maritime Pine Bark extract have each been successfully used in clinical studies to treat ADHD in kids.

    Great content! I was wondering if you had any posits as to why, as a diagnosed ADHDer, would I respond positively to stimulants but negatively to l tyrosine and ALCAR. But for some reason NALT, NAC, and CDP choline are helpful? Thanks!

      Matthew, the human brain is crazy complicated. And 'wiring' varies from person to person. It could be genetic or problems with enzyme production, or ... there is no way to tell. That's why trial and error is so important in figuring out what works for a person.

    • @binathere2574

      ALCAR makes me feel depressed. L tyrosine is my fave.

      @@NootropicsExpertWell said!
      I take an OTC loratadine daily to treat an allergy that causes my eyes to water.
      My friend took one of my tablets to see if it would work for him.
      It caused him to have a reaction like he had overdosed on caffeine, heart racing, could not sleep and felt anxious for about 20 hours.
      He was not happy!
      Different people have different wiring.

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  10 месяцев назад +2

      Igor, you raise a critically important point that many forget or ignore. For example, L-Tyrosine can not make dopamine or norepinephrine without adequate levels of Vitamin B6, B9 & B12.

    ADHD & ADD are the same thing, as ADHD stands for Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder. This captures people with and without hyperactivity.

    From the get go the stimulant did not work for me, as in nothing. Was diagnosed with a neuropath blockage. I have never found out why or a work around. ADDer here

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  11 месяцев назад +2

      That's the thing with these stimulants. They work for some and not for others. And while Ritalin works for me it may not for you. Same with Adderall and the others.

    Sir, Please answer this question, it's important to me. I have been sleep deprived and have been under lot of stress since 3-4 months because of my job. The project has ended now. What should I take to reverse the damage to the brain? My memory has become weaker.

    11:50: "3 pills a day in an ideal world". Well, in an ideal world you should just have to fix your microbiome to have it produce all the precursors for you.
    I find that when I fat-fast, where I do get the calories and energy required for daily activities, but just from fat, I really feel empty on dopamine -- nothing is really exciting, just routine, just mildly amusing, and so on.
    I feel it's healthy for me, but it really highlights my lack of dopamine issue, and will be starting l-tyrosine asap.

    Hello
    Thank you a lot for your videos.
    I wonder how to build a stack of supplements for each day without developing tolerance .
    Many adhd people say that Tyrosine should be cycled and you can take it only occasionaly like once a week.
    If i found that Tyrosine helps me to stay focused what can i do ?
    Dous it sounds logical to take 2 days tyrosine, than 2 days herbs which hopefully will help to focuse immediately , and 2 days Lion's Mane?
    Thank you

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  10 месяцев назад +1

      It does not make sense because L-Tyrosine has a half-life of 2 - 3 hours. The dose you take at 8 AM is gone by noon and can no longer make dopamine.
      Anyone who tells you to cycle L-Tyrosine or Lion's Mane does not know their neuroscience.

      Iilya, I am not qualified to make recommendations for children. But the basic ADHD stack I describe in this video and the related transcript on my website is safe to use. Everyone who uses it makes up their own mind on what dosage works best for them.

    Is calcium L-methylfolate the same thing as Folate? (Vitamin B9)

    • @NootropicsExpert

      It is not but it is a useable form of Vitamin B9. Calcium L-methylfolate is also called Metafolin or Levomefolic Acid.

    • @NootropicsExpert
      @NootropicsExpert  11 месяцев назад +5

      Start with psychotherapy. And only then try adding one or two adaptogens like Ashwagandha, Kava, Rhodiola Rosea, Lithium Orotate. And whatever adaptogen you use support it with the fundamentals like Vitamin D, magnesium chelate, a bioactive B-Complex, and a prebiotic.
