heather is my 80s crush and unfortunately theres not much work of hers I can find available to watch but wow was this a gem to find just further shows how cool the 80s were but also on heathers behalf how talented and hardworking shes was , just awesome !! .
I know I’m about five years too late to your comment, but I’m going through the same thing right now, it looks like the only work of hers still in circulation is nightmare related stuff
@@patri6kd3mps3y8 five years later the comment is still welcomed haha I still think she’s a doll & can give a few recommendations outside of nightmare I watched nickel mountain , fugitive mind & even her later works like like the midnight club is great she also did a very open podcast interview on “inside of you” with Micheal Rosenbaum that has a lot of great stories on her career too , continue to spread the fandom 😊
Great! I watched this back then & really enjoyed this particular performance, among many others - as soon as I started to watch it, I said to myself "Oh, yeah! I remember this!" & I smiled as I watched. Since I'm 60, I was already in my early 30's at this time. Actually, the title should also include Darryl Bell's name! He did a really good job as well! Actually, after seeing the difficulty all 3 faced as well as some hairy moments in the rehearsals, it was clear to see just how hard putting this act together really was. The actors had guts and they really went for it, with strong support from the strong, experienced acrobats & of course, the terrific trainer. Also - imagine Brian Austin Green going for that one trick a 2nd time - but I was thinking, could his first time "miss" have been part of the act, by any chance, just for sensationalism, do you think?...I think maybe it was!!...
I love Heather and too see this its just so great if they want too reboot shows they should do this and battle of the network stars now that be fun to watch.
I can not get over Bea introducing Heather. I grew up with the Golden Girls and still watch them every morning and every evening; Dorothy was my favorite. This is just too cool for me for both of the things that mean a lot to me to come together.
This is way back when actors really had to work hard and do actual stunts. I recall Brian did a lot of these in the late 90's during his 90210 days. You don't see any of the new actors signing up for this kind of entertainment. There's lip synch battle!!

You are correct!
Team Heather Langenkamp!!!
So awesome to see stars you wouldn't expect being so acrobatic. Also love the awesome random mixture of celebrities like Darryl Brian and Heather.
Good stuff really miss the 1980s all my best to everyone
Joe
Heather learned all those moves from Patricia Arquette.
The 1988 Circus of the Stars telecast was dedicated to the memory of the late Bob Stivers, who died earlier that year.
I could watch Heather do forwards cartwheels all day.
Way to go, Heather!! Did everyone HEAR that cheering for her when she posed after her stunts? :):):)
1:08 - It’s Nancy Thompson from A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).
That was so awesome. Thanks for posting!

I agree with you the should bring It back to television that and celebrity circus.

Jeopardy! announcer Johnny Gilbert was the Announcer here and would you believe One year Later Alex Trebek would be involved in the Circus.
Loved the vintage commercials.

For a split second I thought that was Geraldo with Bea Arthur. It's actually Martin Mull.
Nice!
