Ten years ago I used a regular leather belt. Boy I wish I knew what I knew now. I started again with a Groove belt as I already had one when I started carrying again. Then got a EDC Belt Co as I find my shape needs a belt to conform. I’ve been trying a Hunter Constantine lately but need to try the Tenicor Zero. I love their holsters and need to save up for one. Not everyone needs a hula hoop for IWB carry. Thanks for the video.
I also wear a lot of pants without belt loops and PHLster Enigmas have been awesome. Some scoff at the price but companies like PHLster have done more to help folks understand concealment mechanics than most.
Great information. Have you ever tried or heard anything about the Grip6 belt? It seems similar in function to the Tenicor Zero, in that it uses tension/friction with a low profile design, but it's about half the price.
@thatsrich944 I don't hold back on video, so I'm not going to start now. The Grip6 is great if you want a show belt to hold your trousers up. Full stop. If you're carrying anything more than a 5 shot snubbie or maybe a P365, definitely look elsewhere. The Tenicor ZERO is superior in every way, except showability to the Grip6. I ordered the Grip6 on a Prime Day deal, and returned it two days later. By the end of day carrying my usual pocket junk, it felt like I had a heavy duty zip-tie cutting into my waistline. Full transparency... I do know a fellow personally who uses a Grip6, carries way more crud than I do, along with an M&P 10mm full size. He swears by it and won't hear of using anything else.
@@PhotoCaptured Thanks! I have seen a few videos about it. But there aren't really any videos showing it being used for IWB carry. It does seem a bit flimsy compared to the Tenicor, but that's hard to tell on video. I'm just running a 43X clone in a CYA Ridge holster, so it's not a big gun.
Tim hate to tell ya but when you put your rig on tennicore belt it prints. I would say Its not a gun belt its just a $80 strap (just price checked) and they sell identical belts on amazon for $25 I found in 2 min.
@Justinofficial90 I've tried a LOT of those Amazon belts, and nothing comes close to the ZERO Belt. But I'm totally open to checking out one that you think is comparable, just drop me a link. I haven't seen one or used one to date that does what the Tenicor belt can do. Regarding printing - yes, I had the belt a little bit looser than optimal and wore a pretty fitted t-shirt for the demonstration. The random over-seas manufactured options just don't hold the pistol in place very well, and sag uncomfortably. I do not have that issue with the Tenicor ZERO belt.
@NoahDollarSignChasers ooh for sure. And none of them will do what the ZERO does. I've tried them, as have MANY others. If holding your pants up is all you care about, they'll work alright-ish... If you're expecting to comfortably carry heat, then they are junk.
Great review. I like the focus on a compact gun belt since that’s what I carry.
new kore belts kick ass!! All I wear great for iwb or owb with my rig
