You would have to drill through the tile so that you could anchor into the sub floor. Sometimes it is easier to drill at the grout lines than it is to get through the tile.
@@cyanide786 I hold my breath. And use a hammer drill. I"d cross my fingers but they are holding the drill. Maybe better to get advice from a tile shop. It depends a lot on the tile you are drilling into.
Looks like im would use the same principles as screwing into a hard wall. By using wall plugs im guessing. I have a island to fit as well so need to know the right answer as well as my island will be going on to a tiles floor
Screw a piece of 2x4 into the grout and then use a L bracket or screw right into the cabinet through the 2x4. Just make sure to use the right screw length
Seth: This isn't our supplier, but they look like this: www.replacementtablelegs.com/steel-cabinet-and-furniture-leveler-heavy-duty-abs-insert-330lb-weight-capacity-100-pack/
Hey Nathan, I contacted that supplier but they only sell bags of 100. Unfortunately I only need 10. Anyway you could sell me some of your stock? I'm striking out finding another supplier. Thanks.

Really nice work! Very informative video that will help me with my install.
If you wanted to relocate an island installed this way, where would you start?
Was that island assembled from a flat pack (e.g. IKEA)?
No, we build custom cabinets, it's one of ours.
How would you attach a toe kick to a floor that has ceramic tile?

@@KerfDesign thanks so much. Any tips on drilling so you dont crack the tile?

Nice. Thanks! And you can run a screw through the top of the foot into the floor for anchoring the toe kick?
That's how I do it.
How would you go about securing that island if it was tiled floor?
