I was playing the game with tons of excitement because how great it looks and feels but as I was playing I felt more and more frustrated by being defeated by other players, but after watching this made me realize I was playing all wrong. It feels off seeing Battlefront updates teaching people how to fly since i know he ain't exactly a great pilot

Use your power converters and shield adjusters, hold X to do this
Gonna tell everyone this right now. If you don't learn how to drift, turn your engines off to spin your ship around while still moving so you can fire behind you. You will get your ass handed to you. This IS NOT the arcade style flying like in battlefront 2.

Its so refreshing to see new gameplay, i cant believe its finally here, and does it release at midnight tonight for console users? On microsoft store it says october 1st so unless its at 11:59 i guess i might get it a few hours early

Hmmm, gotta disagree with you on your KD ratio being the end all be all of your team value. If you're laying down the damage or setting up the kills while your buddies are getting the kills you're still doing your job.
A quick but important question: are the pre order bonuses exclusive to the pre order or can you earn them through gameplay like bf2?

is there a way to repair the capital ship in fleet battles? Sometimes i here a voice "your capital ship can now be repaired" or something like this when the battle is shifting back to the enemy...

Could you please help clarify how to take on a capital ship? Even when I target the capital ship systems I can never figure out where to shoot And then they always tell me you’ve already destroyed that part of the ship and I just get confused
Play the campaign and do the Fleet Battle Training
Does LT target the closest enemy or A (xbox)? I thought LT targeted whatever you're pointing at and A cycles though all targets.
LT targets the one closest to your aim and A cycles through available targets depending what targetting setting you have (hold LT to change that)

I'm getting the hang of it.. I'm still having trouble with the aiming.. I keep overcorrecting.. turned down the sensitivity, but still struggling. Any tips?
Turn UP the sensitivity, so u don't have to go to the outer edges of your aim input. The smaller moves u need to make, the better. The lower your sensitivity, the more likely youre pushing your control to the coarse, big movement regions. Overall, up thr sentivity and keep movements and corrections really small

How long is the campaign? I have seen 3 hrs and 9hrs but I want to know the actual time.

Im using mouse and keyboard and it's nearly uncontrollable 😂 i still love playing the game but it gets frustrating when its difficult to settle down the ship to shoot something DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME. I am a big hindrance right now

Does anyone else think the ranking system is harsh?? No necessarily placement, but increasing it is so hard. You can be on a team with people who absolutely suck and it’s game over

Jeep playing the game and sucking for a while working on little things and then all the sudden you start dominating. Been playing against AI fleets in coop and have been making myself better. Went from 0 - 6 to 17 - 11 like I did last night. And it only took 2 days of grinding against AIs. People rush into rank too quickly imo.

I don't really know if I should get this game even though I got fallen order and BF2 I just don't feel that great about only first person AND no on the ground gameplay like BF2.
This game is all about multiplayer. The single player can be a lot of fun. But multiplayer It's what this game is designed around. I play it almost every day and I haven't gotten tired. as you improve your ranking improves and your competition proves, if you play online. It's a lot of fun. There can be much more to it than just flying around and shooting.

1. You should know the campaign is barely 3 hours long

I just bought it, played 4 online matches and the matchmaking is awful, I'm level 5 and the enemy team was only players from level 35 to 61, I don't wanna play against the pros, I just started the game....
I feel your pain Im having the same problem it's AWFUL. Really makes the game unplayable and makes me hate it a ton because how am I supposed to get better when I get wrecked every game

@@captainaustria3379 i feel that, everyday I get the urge and excitement to play and I give in and play it and then within the first game I'm already getting frustrated and upset and want to quit :/ it's a shame they designed the game for new players and not so skilled players to just get wrecked all the time in MP with little chance to get better against real players and not AI
Did you finish the campaign? It's not that bad and deliberately designed to help you understand and get better at the game. It's recommended that you play it through before touching online
The UI looks like a mobile game
It's designed to work on lots of systems, like PlayStation Xbox and lower-end computers. In other words you don't have to have a $2,000 computer to play the game. It's accessible to a lot of people.
Once playing you quickly forget about the way the game looks because you're focusing on tactics and strategies and teammates. It's an excellent game with a lot of depth in multiplayer matches.

The UI is so arcadey and distrubtive. Colours are off, Markers are too big and the cockpit is too small. Wont be buying, bring on battlefront 3
why you so negative? every review i've seen so far said its a ton of fun. you haven't even tried it yet and youre crapping on it.
Your loss. You can turn the UI elements off and just fly with the instruments in the ship if you want. I’m having a blast with the game. Would definitely recommend it

I agree, I'm not having fun with this game. Starfighter assault was way better
