- Here is a brand new tier list video! This is an RMC coaster tier list for every RMC I've ridden, and because I ordered the RMCs from best to worst, this is essentially RMC roller coasters ranked. Rocky Mountain Construction roller coasters are excellent, but which ones are the best? Is Iron Gwazi top tier? What is the worst RMC? Let's find out!

I have an issue with Twisted Colossus not making S (Best) tier. How can it not? being a Möbius Loop duel RMC, amazing first drop you get to experience 2 times on the same ride and crazy air time, You underrated this Coaster immensely! Not even mentioning how iconic Colossus is to begin with.
@@RollerCoasteraddict Twisted Colossus is in my top 10 roller coasters period, almost top 5. It would be S tier in nearly any other list. However, when organizing tiers I do feel that the two in S tier are quite a bit better than Twisted Colossus for me. That said, I find it to be an awesome, underrated ride.
@@ThemeParkAvenue So this tier list is Coasters VS Each other? or Coasters that are "On the same level" ? ... Because Twisted Colossus is longer than Iorn Gwazi and has the dueling factor it has two points on it. IDK i feel like there is always a Top 3 in everything so to see a top 2 is weird, I haven't been on vengeance or gwazi but i can tell they are monster coasters but, still the fact you have a 2015 RMC next up to these recent RMC shows how great Twisted Colossus is.
@@RollerCoasteraddict sometimes it is a top 3, it’s just that I find the top 3 much better than Twisted Colossus, so it’s not really about where they rank compared to other coasters as much as where I rank each RMC on its own. The one funny thing is that somebody complained about me having more than one item in S tier.
@@RollerCoasteraddict also, yes Twisted Colossus is great. It was me third favorite coaster for a long time and is still very high up.
I think Goliath is underrated, because it's just really different from the others. I saw some one describe it this way: Most RMC's have a large number of small elements, while Goliath has a small number of large elements.
Great tier list mine would be this
S-Tier: Steel Vengeance, Lightning Rod
A-Tier: Medusa Steel, Twisted Colossus, Railblazer
B-Tier: Twisted Cyclone, Joker
C-Tier: Wonder Woman Flight of Courage
You’ve ridden some good ones. I definitely want to get to CGA.
Lightning rod wheel it was running fast AF is A or S tier, but now, 2021 it's C tier or lower for me
Hi there! So this Sunday, I was at Busch Gardens Tampa and if you look behind the elephant area from the main path way, you can see something being built. I think that maybe you should make a video about it unless if you were not planning on doing it (Its purple).

Always interesting to see people's rankings. For me Outlaw Run is definitely S tier. The night rides on it are absolutely insane too. I would agree on Iron Gwazi and Steel Vengeance being up there too.
A tier for me would be Twisted Colossus, Iron Rattler, Lightning Rod and Twisted Timbers. (Lightning Rod in the opening season was S tier all the way)
B tier would be Wonder Woman, Railblazer, WIcked Cyclone, Storm Chaser.
C tier would be Twisted Cyclone, Goliath, Jersey Devil, New Texas Giant and Joker.
I haven't gotten on Stunt Pilot yet but it is a less aggressively profiled version of WW and Railblazer so it would likely be C tier for me. WW Flight of Courage is very similar to Jersey Devil so it would likely be C as well.
Great video! I think if you rode Zadra though you'd probably put it in the same row with Iron gwazi and steel vengeance!
I've ridden every RMC in the US other than Jersey Devil. This would be my Tier list:
S: Steel Vengeance, Lightning Rod, Iron Gwazi, Twisted Timbers
A: Outlaw Run, Storm Chaser, Twisted Colossus, Iron Rattler
B: Wonder Women (SFFT), RailBlazer, Twisted Cyclone, Wicked Cyclone, Stunt Pilot
C: Goliath, Wonder Women (SFMM), Joker, New Texas Giant
Have not Ridden, but where I think I would rank them:
Zadra (S), Hakugei (S), Untamed (S), Wildfire (S), Medusa (B), Jersey Devil (C)
1.Steel
2.Joker
3.Goliath

Another list I hope you do is CCI coasters. I got on a whole bunch of them this year and have a new appreciation for them

Twisted Cyclone was running vey fast when I got both day and night rides on it on my first visit to SFOG in 5 years. It has to warm up in order to enjoy its power despite it being a short ride
1.) Twisted Colossus
2.) Joker
3.) Twisted Cyclone
4.) Railblazer
5.) Goliath
The only RMC I've ridden is Wicked Cyclone. I rode it in 2021 and didn't see much evidence of the slowdown on the third lap that many describe. I then heard other enthusiasts argue that they must have done something to improve it, because it was running faster that summer than it had previously.
Anyway, it's the best coaster I've ever ridden, but since it's the only RMC I don't have any basis for comparison with others.
I can certainly respect that and it seems everyone has different opinions on how each RMC is paced. For example, I don’t think Iron Rattler loses much speed at all on the quarry section.
Your tier lists are awesome! I’ve only been on two rmcs, Lrod and Steel Vengeance, and they are my number 1 and 2 overall. I may get on Gwazi in the spring.
Lightning rod is overrated

I’d love to get a night ride, though I did not go during the time when the park is open late.
I have ridden Twisted Cyclone, Twisted Timbers, Steel Vengeance, Jersey Devil, Lightning Rod, Storm Chaser, and Wicked Cyclone. Here's my ranking
1. Steel Vengeance
2. Lightning Rod
3. Storm Chaser
4. Twisted Timbers
5. Wicked Cyclone
6. Twisted Cyclone
7. Jersey Devil
I honestly have a hard time placing 2-4 because they are all very good for very different reasons. I'm also going to Funspot Atlanta as soon as theirs opens, I think it will be second behind Steel Vengeance

Twisted Timbers is easily my favorite RMC (yes...way above SteVe, that's actually my least favorite). Partly helps that KD actually lets you get room on it really easily with how they check the restraints (they let you put them down yourself, surprisingly). But even besides that, the airtime is so strong and sustained, and the pacing is unmatched for RMC (imo). It's truly an elite coaster imo.
If you love the strongest and most plentiful ejector airtime, Twisted Timbers is hard to beat. It's kind of a one trick pony but man does it do it well. Twisted Timber's 3 big hills are insanely strong ejector, up there with the huge first hill on Storm Chaser. I think I counted 17 ejector moments and several of them were sustained pretty insane. We hadn't ridden it since opening season when we had season passes and it was like a totally different ride this year lol. So was Mystic Timbers for some reason. Strange.
I wonder if Joker hate maybe due to the fact it is the only RMC Hybrid that has a franchise attachment to it.
Maybe the oversized amount of DC rides has hurt its image.
That’s possible. I definitely am surprised when it is considered far weaker than rides like Wicked Cyclone as I feel Joker does most things better.

I personally prefer it over Lightning Rod but I am in the minority for that.
I can imagine it is a solid A tier ride for you.

Because as I said, I haven't ridden all of them. Many people requested I do the list even though I haven't been on them all.

That I have ridden. LOL Ugh, I'm a coaster enthusiast trapped in the body of someone who has no right to call himself that because he is limited to the parks he can go to and how often. I swear, I wanna ride Gwazi and Vengeance so bad plus try a single rail like Jersey Devil. Those actually look pretty awesome to me.
I only rode the 3 European RMCs and that is how i would rank them
S Tier
Wildfire
One of my alltime favourite coasters. The 1-2-3 Punch of the ride combined with the views and the terrain is simply amazing. After that we have a variety of Different mid size airtime hills, floaty or really snappy inversions and RMC-untypical Elements like rapid S curves, all in a beautiful forest cliffside setting. And there is no wait time, perfect coaster (for me!)
Untamed
To me it seems like Mini-steel vengeance. Airtime After Airtime with a very cool First Element, a perfect 0g Roll and a pretty rare stretched out Barrel roll. No dead spot or weak hill on this thing, it really comes close after wildfire for me.
A Tier
Zadra
I tried to love it but simply couldnt. Despite being the highest, it Feels like the shortest of the 3. The Stall and waveturn are more enjoyable on wildfire, and aside from that the Layout didnt do too much for me. Its very fast, has a good pace and strong lateral forces tho. Still a crazy cool ride but i dont get why its ranked so highly amongst enthusiasts
Interesting. I really want to get overseas and ride the coasters in Europe and Japan. China would be awesome too but the country is so huge, getting to all the coasters would really be difficult I would think.

If you think that Iron Gwazi is The best si ten once you will ride Zadra you also will think its the best RMC i have only been on Zadra and Iron Gwazi and i have to say idk which one is better. Zadra have better layout but Iron Gwazi have better finale.

For sure. That ride is surprisingly intense for it's size
How many RMCs have you ridden? That affects it greatly. The more you ride, the more you realize that it isn't as unique as you think. That first ejector airtime hill is sick though. One of the strongest sustained ejector hills on an RMC. The only issue is that Twisted Timbers has THREE of those in a row and then lots more. The trick track is better on SC than TT though and I got one ride where a plane was taking off as we were at the top of the lift hill getting ready to drop. That was sick.
Sadly I have only rode one RMC railblazer

This is a RMC top list so i wont say much but i need to go to cedar point ppl keep saying its better than Six Flag MM but i highly doubt any theme park beats MM.
If you love Magic Mountain, there’s definitely a 50-50 chance between which you’ll prefer.
in my opinion new texas giant doesn't lose any of its speed and has a great finale
The finale is awesome, but between the start of the second half and the start of the finale is a bit slower.
New Texas Giant is like an RMC had a love child with a B&M.
