Fantastic work. Love the color. Can you tell me if that color is the McTavish pineapple yellow? that's a beauty!!!

Indeed it's a pretty nice one hey? Not sure on the colourway as it wasn't a custom - they do have it on their pinterest board though if you wanted to match it!

McTavish spent time in California surfing Rincon with George Greenough. and shaped boards in ventura ca.with Bill.blinky Hubina.Blinky shaped me a 7,2 single fin pin with a McTavish v in it he told me the story of meeting McTavish at Rincon in 1968/9

Amazing! I’ve met Bob a couple times (including a few surfs with him) and he’s an absolute frother! Always super friendly and has heaps of awesome stories to share!

    How big is the fin?

    • @StokedForTravel

It’s a bit of a beast for that board size! Not 100% sure but it looks pretty comparable to my 9” in my log!

It's a 9" fin and quite upright and a narrow base. I actually think it's 'under-finned' in my opinion given the diversity of this board design although i have ridden this board from 1-8 feet. I ride a 9.5" fin mostly
