- Belgium is known for many things, but especially their fries and waffles. Today, we were on a mission to find the best Belgian fries and waffles in Brussels. It wasn't easy because there was a huge list to choose from and we knew some of the favorites may be left out due to the size of our stomachs. We attempted to find the top 3 friteries and top 3 waffles restaurants to make sure we could determine the places to visit.
The best part of this day was the convenience of walking from place to place. It was so nice that each food we tried was only a short walk from the other. We even has a chance to walk by the Grand Place in the middle of Brussels. By the end we were so full, but we determined the best place for fries and for waffles in Brussels. Yummm! I like mayo on fries when it’s mixed 1/2 and 1/2 w ketchup!

You need to try a plain waffle, but only if you try it in Belgium! They make it differently!

Australian waffles is a Belgian brand.

Fries Andalouse is so perfect. But Brussel have not the best Fries in Belgium. You have place like Gent Antwerp we're the have better food. But tourist is like the only know Brussel. Till the go to other place like Gent ore Brugge. 10times better and the most saus that sel in Belgium is fries Whit stoofleesaus and Mayonaise

Best fries in Belgium are in the Walloon Ardennes in Aubange as officially ranked. But I would recommend to foreigners to visit Gent which is magnificent and full of real life and not waste their time in Brugge or Antwerp.
