I just had to do a complete wind test between the 3 DJI Mavics, the Mavic Mini, the DJI MIni 2 and the Mavic Air 2. Is the DJI Mini 2 just as good in wind as the Mavic Air 2? We'll see in this video.

You should have completed your wind experimentation with each drone trying to come back against the wind in real time high up in the air..
You would see THAT THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE THAT THE MINI 2 COULD BARELY COME BACK IN THOSE SITUATIONS AND THE MAVIC AIR 2 COULD EASILY..
IT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE ESPECIALLY HIGH UP IN THE AIR WHEN IT MATTERS!!
If I had the mini 2 I would not trust it high up in the air over 10 trying to get it home.. the battery is going to wear out quickly and you can lose your drone..

All right DJI made me look like an idiot.
On almost all of their drones they only put one wind specification.. for the mavic Air 2 it was always 23.5 mph level 5..
Then when they came out with the mini 2 ( it was 19 mph to 23.5 mph )
I've complained to DJI about this wondering what the hell this means.
Why did it always say 19 to 23.5 and gave two specifications for the mini 2 and did not for the mavic air II and other drones
RECENTLY I JUST LOOKED AT THEIR UPDATED SPECIFICATIONS THEY DID FINALLY CHANGE IT FOR THE MAVIC AIR 2 TO READ BOTH SPECIFICATIONS ALSO ( 19 TO 23.5 )
The reason why I thought this was significant is because the mini 2 was the only drone that had this dual specification two different numbers. AND THE MINI TOO PERFORMED THAT WAY IT DIDN'T DO NEARLY AS GOOD AS THE MAVIC AIR 2 OR THE MAVIC 2
BUT IT TURNS OUT IT'S ALWAYS BEEN A DJI SPECIFICATION ERROR.
BUT IT WOULD HAVE MADE PERFECT SENSE BECAUSE THE MIN 2 DOES NOT DO THAT WELL IN THE WIND COMPARED TO THE MAVIC AIR 2 ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO GET BACK FROM LONG DISTANCE! IT STINKS AND EVEN IN DIRECT WINDS OF LIKE 12 MPH IN SPORT MODE HAS TROUBLE!! WITH A MAVIC AIR 2 HAS NO PROBLEMS FIGHTING DIRECT WIND! PLENTY OF VIDEOS FOR THAT!!
Sorry for the inconsistency when it comes to wind resistance specs that DJI has made me incorrect about..

As you can see from this video below from DRONING ON ( ruclips.net/video/Fcx9iMbOr7k/видео.html ) when it comes to the MINI 2 in extreme wind conditions as there are many other videos ( the mini 2 struggles mightily and does not do well in the wind at all it is not a beast not even close.. ) it has trouble returning even in sports mode where the mavic Air 2 has no problems!!
Mini 2 struggles like crazy..
The mavic Air 2 does a hell of a lot better with better stable video as it should.. as it's rated to!! the MAVIC AIR 2 is by far the one you take over the mini 2 extreme situations.. and not to mention it will last longer and will take less of a beating..
And AGIAN I still don't understand why the specification for the MINI 2 gives a ( 19 to 23.5 mph ) wind specification. Why is there 2 specifications.. only handles 19 mph in what situation? 😂🤣😂🤣

YOU'RE MISSING ONE HUGE TEST!!
AT SAY (20 MPH OR 10MPH) WINDS GOING AGAINST THE DRONE HOW CAN THEY CUT THROUGH THE WIND TO COME BACK HOME IN A REAL WORLD SITUATION IN THE AIR!!
This test has already been done the MINI 2 COULD BARELY COME BACK IN SPORT MODE AND THE MAVIC AIR 2 COULD COME BACK FAIRLY EASILY NOT EVEN CLOSE!!
You could clearly see the mini 2 is better than the mini 1 but it's not even close to the mavic Air 2 when it comes to wind despite what they say about level 5 wind!!
Again what does the specification mean when DJI says 19 to 23.5 miles per hour for the mini 2? No explanation from DJI!!
MINI 2 HAS A LEVEL 5 WHEN RESISTANCE BUT THAT IS SKEWED IN THE SPECS.
if you look closely the specifications for the mini 2 say ( 19 TO 23.5 MPH ) WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!!! IT'S THE ONLY DRONE DJI HAS THAT HAS TWO DIFFERENT SPECIFICATIONS!!
SO DOES IT MEAN IT CAN DO 19 MPH SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES 23.5 AND DJI DOES NOT EXPLAIN THEMSELVES!!!
Also there's plenty of videos out there of the MINI 2 HAVING TONS OF PROBLEMS IN THE WIND TRYING TO GET BACK IN THE SAME SITUATION AS THE MAVIC AIR 2 THAT HAD NO PROBLEMS GOING THROUGH THE WIND..
THE MAVIC AIR 2 IS SO MUCH BETTER IN THE WIND THAN THE MINI 2 IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE..
I DON'T KNOW HOW DJ I GOT AWAY WITH SAYING LEVEL 5 WIND WHEN IT'S SEVERELY STRUGGLES..
Yeah the air 2s and air 2 in reality do way better in wind.
