It’s always hilarious when the NCAA wants to ban “wins” from the record books. But, they never want to return any of that $$$ they made off these kids😂
The sad part is , if Michigan had won , Webber stays one more year try for repeat of championship , fab five stay together year longer. , It sad ending to great era
1993 UNC was the least star studded championship team in UNC history, such a shame Michigan couldn't close the deal considering all the future NBA talent they had. Kudos to Dean Smith, what a legend.
That timeout wasn't the real bad ending tho, it was Webber lying to the jury under oath that he never got any money from that booster which resulted in NCAA banning them from games, stripped their finals banners and erased their existence from the history... imagine if NCAA actually had player salaries!
Webber got paid to throw the game. That's why he did everything to turn the ball over. When you take money you need to do favours to the mob betting on the games
The bench yelling " no timeout" in a jam packed stadium probably sounded a lot like "call timeout"...just saying 🤷 kind of dumb on the benches part even tho Webber should've known. It's hard in the moment

💯 agree with you
Because there is no reason to return the money to anybody. There is a reason to strip away the wins though.

Why would a surefire lottery pick repeat college?
The timeout wasn't the issue, it was that booster getting caught and Webber lying under oath....

Man my childhood. NCAA basketball used to be great stuff
With the rule changes in the ncaa, their banners should go back up
Biggest mistake a TIME OUT 🤣😂😂
This made kids NOT want the ball in the final seconds!!!!!😂
I’m happy I picked UNC to win it all back in ‘93 😊
#GuruBasketballKieroSays Even though this, FAB 5 Legacy lives Forever

Nope this game crushed Webber. UNC just played a better game
Im confused about this story.
Were people saying that Webber was throwing the game?
You didn't mention the gods evened up the travel.
Fab Five are soooo overrated. Fashion icons for basketball, but on the court...🤷
Not the type of history a HOF wanna be apart of tbh 💯😆
Every Hall of Famer has been part of bad losses. Bron has 2011 finals. Kobe has 3-1 blown lead. They even called Magic as TRAGIC Johnson
Jaylen Brown story your next video theScore 🙏🙏🙏
CWebb is my Fav player next to MJ
i have all his Cards
I'll always blame Jalen for this. You gotta go and get the ball from Chris. I'll never blame Chris for this it's all on Jalen. Go Blue!
I love Webber, but this might be the biggest choke ever. He walks/travels which he got away with, then takes the time out. Wow
Stupid is as stupid does.🤭
The documentary clearly showed that a time out was signaled to him!
Webber took way too much responsibility for this loss. I respect it but they probably wouldn't have won anyway
Everybody makes mistakes. Especially kids . Chris had a great pro career Who cares ?
