Master plan = continue infrastructure improvement to create more jobs like Installing more traffic lights at already congested heartland small roads to “further increase pedestrians safety”.
@@MrBoliao98 Invalid point. Cementitious grout for ground stability and waterproofing already exist since the 19th century. By 20th century more advanced epoxy and chemical grouts were already widely used in infrastructures where problems posed by limestone environments exist. We are currently in the 21st century.
@@ogapadoga2 by the fact Malaysia had to move the Twin Tower site goes to show how far you can use grouting. Maybe this small hole, but others, I'm not so sure. And some of these limestone caves, you pray they are small. Even at 8m, this is a 2.5 storey hole in the ground.
Just stop deforestation. It is not the number of trees you can plant along a major road way that cools the place down. You need clusters and pockets of forestry to create green lungs.
Singapore has transformed into a vast construction zone, with roadworks and MRT projects disrupting traffic at every turn. This is Keynesian economics in action-public spending is fueling the GDP.
Just STOP adding buildings to Serangoon/paya Lebar area already - Bidadari has been removed, and the area is now hot, dusty, noisy and crowded. The constructions have been literally non-stop over the last 13years.
Call on all Singaporeans to lobby against this master plan and warn your MPs and ministers not to proceed. This project is going to cost taxpayers so much money and only few people stand to benefit. It is better for government to cut unnecessary spending and give cash vouchers.
Stupid plan. Imagine cars in tunnels have accident. Surely will have accidents and accidents in tunnel from north to south with high traffic volume will be very troublesome and dangerous. Disaster in making.
Can't wait for the NSC, CTE is too jammed up these days esp with accidents, GG. Amazing masterplan, can't wait!!!!

@@bulls85you can say what you like, all these stupid ideas make the bus slow.
Woohoo..cant wait
Singapore having infrastructure upgrades everyday while Malaysia don't even want to investigate ground safety of their capital.
Theirs not the same, you lucky we don't sit on so much limestone.

The word Kuala Lumpur if translated literally, what does it mean? And you have the answer why.
Im excited for this even tho I dont live near there
That's a first-world PAP govt ranked the most effective in the world, and the opposition parties certainly have a lot to learn from PAP.❤❤

Yes, stop population growth, curb housing demand, then build less HDB.
a lot contractors become millionaires
Come on, use metric. How long is the football field?? And which football field are you talking about???
One football field is between 100-120m long.
joke sia kebun baru has already been cordoned on and off for the past 10 years, another 10 years more to go.

Best to stay on trees. No development. No need HDB.

Erm, I see great benefit to this plan actually, compared to giving cash vouchers for BUMs like in the west so Singaporeans won't work hard? No thanks.
Give free money!! yippy...so we all don't need to work
You're a bit late to the party, this project has been ongoing for AT LEAST 2 years now
