This is my dream career. Is there a lot of jobs for NASA flight surgeons? Are you looking to eventually apply for an Astronaut position? I was actually looking into the UTMB Residency and NASA Aerospace Clerkship nice to hear your point of view and experiences and how you made it. Thank you, you're honestly a big inspiration to me and it's so cool to see someone that also looks like me in this career, and it's such a niche field I'd love to hear more about it. Looking forward to more videos

Yes, there is increased need for flight surgeons. I am not looking into applying for the astronaut position because of the length of training right now and due to family. I highly recommend UTMB Residency and NASA Aerospace Clerkship and I really appreciate your dedication and your presence into viewing my videos. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance or have additional questions.

Thanks! This is my exact planned path, though I'm hoping to do the UCLA Space Medicine fellowship route, starting my first year of medical school now.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for creating this video. This is literally my dream career - your family must be so proud! I would love to be a NASA flight surgeon and hopefully am astronaut one day. However, I have IBS-D, so am I even eligible?

Thank you so much, ma'am. I am an Indian citizen who wishes to become a flight surgeon and work with NASA. Am I going to face any problems because of this? If yes, then how difficult is it for Indians to get US citizenship?
