I liked the video, but there were too many ads and it was definitely geared towards someone who knows a lot of these processes. Especially with the Adobe program and heat applying the laminate onto the white Orocal 651. The processes to create the image was too fast and limited. I wish you were more informative and were clear about showing exactly what you were doing. Just my opinion, but based on this video, I did not subscribe to your channel because there was just too much missing.
that's unfortunate...guess you actually didn't like it. There are several Adobe videos on RUclips that could assist. Per the title, this video is not about adobe...however, I briefly covered it. As far as the process, I'm not sure if you actually watched this video...but thanks for giving feedback and not subscribing.
You are dope! I tried this last night and made my first car sign!!! I recorded it. I had to mute the background, I was watching and re-watching your video the entire time. LOL. This was actually pretty fun and your detailed instructions were everything.
This was a very good video. Although you can sub directly to the white oracal 651, the color end up being muted. They don't pop. I never thought to put laminate on top of the oracal so the colors will pop. Fantastic! On a side note. The reason it doesn't pop when directly applied to the white oracal is because the sublimation ink adheres to the bonding agent of the substrate which on the back side of the white oracal. With the laminate, it sits on top.
Thank you so much for this video! I am a dispatcher for a delivery company and some of the drivers have been asking me about making them some magnets for their vehicles. I never thought about using laminate and 651
Oh now see you outdid yourself with this one 😍 not even halfway through yet, but I’m like Patrice showed out on those. This is AMAZING! Now this video made me want an ET15000. 😍

this is a wonderful video. I wanted to look at something different. I do not have the wide printer; however I have the roland bn20 where I would print and cut but the lamination and process you showed is valuable...Great job! I know I will be making this soon
Hi you did two one with laminate and oracal and the other with just laminate. on the laminate one w/o oracal it had like pockets in the picture. did you ever figure out why? I know you said when you did with the oracal you did not have those pockets. I had my heat press on 385 and I only kept 25 seconds the first time and 5 seconds the 2nd time and still had the pockets....do not know what to do from here
I watch the video it was good however did you put the oracle 650 with the laminate on top of it and then put the sublimation paper it really wasn’t clear in the video

Hello only a week in this, am glad I came across this video. I was a little lost. Did you put the laminate and the Oracle on heat press 1st then you press the photo on top? Hope you cna get back.
Tje description says the top is printable matte vinyl. I wonder if you could laminate directly onto the magnet and sub, or would that amount of heat be dangerous with a magnet? IDK.
I was scared to. I only had a limited amount of them and did want to waste for order. I'm going to try it, though. I subbed other magnets before. However, those were MDF sub products.
@@CraftableThings Hi, love your tutorial. I am attempting to make a magnet bumper sticker and I did try to use the heat press on it, twice and twice I destroyed it! And that is why I am watching your video. I am a newbie, so thank you!
Thank you! No, I don't believe the magnet can be subbed on directly (I haven't tried). I know for certain that the laminate can be subbed on. Now, it's possible that the oracal 651 isn't needed. I'm going to try it without it. I'm just not sure how it will hold up under the heat.
@@CraftableThings That is what I was thinking - not using the Oracal 651 because the laminate sticks directly to the magnet? And possibly adding another laminate that is UV/Waterproof on top?
Hello! Great video! I watched when you first posted it brought everything I needed to do this project, but I am just now getting to it. 🙃 I came back to get a refresher on what to do, and I notice you mentioned to round the edges in your notes as an update. How are the edges rounded?
Hey Beautiful Latrice! I loveeee your channel! Your content is always on point. Thank you for that 💕 I attempted to try this following this tutorial. When pressing the laminate , the oracle looks like a texture not a smooth press. What would cause that ? Too much heat ? Not enough pressure ?

Does oracal 651 come in white glitter? If so, could you have sublimated on it without adding the thermal laminate? Just wondering. Love what you made.
Yes, a permanent glitter vinyl should work without lamination.

Did you have to use the oracle? Thought you could use sub on laminate.
You can sub into oracle. The color isn’t always the greatest…that’s why I used laminate.
Can you show exactly what you pressed? What is layered first?
I did. At the 26:39 mark, I show the order of how I pressed each part.
So correct me if I'm wrong we first working on the oracle 651 alone with the laminate THEN. SUB.. then we cut & apply to magnet,
yes...that's the order. That kind of works best for me.
