Cinemas are black for the sole reason of avoiding light bounce from a projector, so that colours won't bleed into one another and ruin the overall quality of the image. You could simplify this to saying it's due to the immersion, however it would he a gross simplification, with all things considered. Do keep up the good videos, just don't want people to be confused about why cinemas are usually black. or dark grey.
Yeah, thats why estate agents love to see black walls and black ceilings in the living room of a house. Black makes perfect sense at a multiplex cinema. But in a three (what used to be four) bedroomed house on a Legoland new build estate? No! The guy is an idiot.

Anyway, I have missed that bit, but I can still help you with the furniture you need, I have just launched a company that makes furniture designed for cinema, so a cabinet that can hold all of your kit including the subwoofers! Maybe we should talk about that?

I thought it was empty though. He was saying how he needs to do it all in a vlog not long ago when he let Steve run around in there. Even if he has the projector etc... already which I don’t know if he does, he could still have a huge project done to it.
First Name Didn’t realise fully as I’ve not seen him go in that room since he built the house in any vlogs until recently and that was just to let Steve roam around. I may remember them watching a boxing match but that’s a while ago. I’m always on and off watching the vlogs. Sometimes miss a month or two because life gets busy and when I have time I catch up on other things first which leaves me no time. But it’s up to Tom. Seeing as he has Alex in the loop recently he could consider going full tech with it.

if your a big fan of guitar hero have a look at clone hero for PC. basically the same but it gets updates and you can add so many more songs.

Why buy low-voltage wall plates and fish rods when you can just slice open your entire wall and leave visible holes.. Bet that window looks great from the outside too
His neighbours must regret buying their houses. Overlooked by all his CCTV, deafened by his loud music and blinded by all his Circus tent like LED floodlighting. And then he tries to tell us he is an 'expert'.
Actually screening rooms are black so the walls, ceiling and floor don't reflect any light back from the projected image, thereby degrading contrast. I would argue it's quite meaningless to do this with a TV room since the TV itself is a lightsource so you don't have the same issues. Also when you look into a bright light source like a TV the aperture of your eye will adjust to this, automatically cancelling out the lower levels of light of the room itself. A good set of blackout curtains probably would have saved you some cash and time.
But the black walls make it feel more like a cinema

Looking good, but I would replace all the electric sockets etc., with black or nickel ones so they don't stand out like a sore thumb. Also do something to 'hide' the radiator as that stands out a bit too much for me :)

In terms of acoustics... the whole room acoustics would be better if you out some thermal insulation material or any high density material into your lowered ceiling. And some around the room especially around the speakers...
