In your office you should take your desk and put it in the actual room itself and have the awkward looking room as a closet for that room to store all your essentials, boxes, and extra things you might need in the future. The massive tv in the living room should face the wall with the door. That way you can put an led strip behind it and you won't cover the window for natural light and worst case scenario there's a hurricane or a massive rain, your TV won't die.

But now he has big room with a weird alcove in it and removed the bedroom.
