The one who tried me used a very similar you tube channel to Matts with his picture, even highlighting my content.
Sorry you had to deal with that Adam but glad you're sharp enough to avoid being scammed.
I'm pinning your comment to the video for a while so other viewers have a heads up.
I also apologize to viewers who are getting pestered by pathetic people who put their own selfish greed above others!
This is partly due to my own naievte for not being aware people would stoop so low and wish I addressed it in the video or took preventative measures although I don't know what those measures would be.

@@NextLevelCarpentry They tried it on me as well. I doubt any of us are blaming you Matt. I tried to post a warning, but it got removed. You may want to talk to RUclips about this. The spammer used your name and indicated I had been selected as a winner. The giveaway was that like others, I had not included the hashtag for the contest.
@@Major-Dan sorry you had to go through that but thanks for letting me know how your experience. If I see any more of those I will report it to RUclips and suggest other viewers that are subject to this shameful activity report their experience to RUclips as well.

Congratulations Matt. Woodworking has been a hobby for decades and now retired, I am a few weeks away from putting the finishing touches to my first home workshop. I'm a relative newcomer to NLC but will say that a lot of the design and organization of my shop is based on the many, many lessons and tips I have picked up from your videos. Like another commenter below, I have all the CA glue I need for now so won't add the hashtag, but also look forward to the wisdom and practical lessons you pass on.

Hey mat thanks very much I've learned alot from you I'm a carpenter 20 odd years since I was 16 I'm kind of a journey man at this stage I've worked for and alongside alot of builders they all have diffrent ways etc but your slick and probly the best I've seen I l have learnt alot from you and have been a subscriber since you appeared on here respect and love lotto adds tho
I love the work you do and everything I’ve learned and taken away from your videos. I’ve watched many RUclipsrs in the past using CA glue and activator in there videos back when CA glue became the rage. But never had I seen anyone use it like you. Whether you’re making simple templates for very complex cuts or filling in a knot hole and keeping them looking like a knots. Your use of Starbond products made me finally go out and get some. I’ve have a set in the shop and a set in the house. It’s a product I’ll never not have around. Congratulations on #300KSUBSRGREAT well deserved!

Congrats on the 300! I tune in for brush ups on tricks I haven't used in awhile and the new ones I somehow missed in my 45 yrs. in the trades. Retired now (don't retire, it's bad for the frame & brain!). Took Horace Greely's advice wrong and moved east(?), bought a 10 yr. old house and started rebuilding it thanks to my wife. I did get to do one thing I've always wanted to do and that's build a fairly decent wood shop (told her I couldn't do all the projects she wanted without one!). In the last 3 yrs. I've managed to rebuild the entire kitchen, install hardwood floors (all white oak off my own land!) , paint the entire lower half of the house and build a bunch of deck furniture. Now it's time for new decks (cedar - also off my land), and an entertainment center for back deck.
DON'T RETIRE!!! She'll work to to death! :)

I'm still pissed...scammers should be held accountable for the terrible ways they scam money from good people using the tool of there trade ( deceit ) I believe our time on earth is only a short stay in the big picture and the list of wrongs we did while here will not be overlooked .
