Nice run Gary. That thing is a lot smaller then I thought it was haha but it is wild. I would like if Associated made a 1/8 version of this truck some how that could have similar durability
Great video! I want to get this truck. By the way, you mentioned you are in Cali, where is this bash spot? I'm also in Cali and looking for some more locations to run. If you've mentioned it before, my apologies. Also, I liked what you said about your Freedoms. Seems rare these days. Thank you!
On my Avenge (basically same) I tightened down the servo saver and changed to an aluminum servo horn and it tracks a lot better now. Before I would have to make steering trim adjustments every now and then. Those tires seem like they are harder than they really are they balloon pretty easily but give pretty good air control because of it. The tread is also flat with not much spacing between the chevrons so just slides instead of gripping (not always a bad thing depending on the surface). They are the same as the ones that come on the Redcat Dukono. Got mine from Amazon.
In your videos, can you tell us what lipo you are using and the specs like the brand, mah, and c rating? I'm quite jealous of that bash area, thanks for showing off the truck.
Nice run!..Those tires would do good in mud it seems but the Chevron style isn't optimal in the dry loose stuff..Seem better than stock though that's for sure
Nice. I'm still going out too here in South Texas, but just by myself. Did you ever get put your Kaiju back together? Neither of my two KAIJUs have been durable honestly with my terrible driving
Seems like a nice dollar for dollar truck, wonder how associated rtr nomad runs. Figured only associated kits were the real deal. I'll have to check it out. As always, nice video!
Hey just looking for some advice...my Kratons wheels turn fine when it's not moving but when I'm cruising around at speed it feels like they hardly turn at all. I'm thinking maybe it's the servo saver? This is a v2
I own both. You cannot break the Rival MT10. AE sorted out the brittle A arms. They are now Helion quality A arms. I can't break it... I tried. The Tenacity MT has a longer wheelbase, more planted, and faster. The weakness on the Tenacity is the plastic shock caps and the battery door. It also should have a heat sink and fan for the Dynamite motor. Overall, fun truck! I'd rate Rival MT #1, and Losi Tenacity #2. If you're a beginner and want something more basic, you might look at the Granite. It's tough as nails, but has 0 tuning options and isn't as stable to drive... it has the generic slipper clutch instead of 3 diffs.
Thanks i always appreciate your videos .Im considering gearing my rigs up a little too much and just running on 4s because im going through parts on 6s
would have watched the rest of the vid except you felt it necessary to put the politics in there. please keep in mind that it isn't about just you. while that park had lots of space its about transmission of the disease. so you got a thumbs down. if you want to make a political channel please go ahead, otherwise keep politics out.
I just got one it arrived three days early I couldn’t believe it. Waiting for the rain to stop and guna run it with a 2s 50c 5200mah lipo pack.
Nice run Gary. That thing is a lot smaller then I thought it was haha but it is wild. I would like if Associated made a 1/8 version of this truck some how that could have similar durability
That would be cool the old 1/8 Rival was crap
KillerOffRoadHobbyz I agree. If they can beef it up like this little truck would be cool. Rival MT8!

It's strange, I've noticed that exact steering issue as well even with the servo saver cranked down it has trouble turning.
That's a awesome bashing spot! Wish I had somewhere like that close to me!

if you break the Arms try these made from RPM

Awanfi 5000mah 60c both 2s and 3s
@@killeroffroadhobbyz these are some dope lipos because sometimes I get bored before either of these lipos die🤣🤣🤣
I love mine, stripped out the spur gear on it though... Ordered a couple of them!!
Do you know what the length and width of the body shell is?
is this truck better than the arma granite blx?
Nice bash, truck looks really good. Excellent driving skills. Thanks for the shout-out my friend! What brake number did you end up setting it to, 4?
No problem and yes I did it just the way you showed and it works great. Thanks you

Impact crater!! Love it! Lol
LOL thanks
Nice. I'm still going out too here in South Texas, but just by myself. Did you ever get put your Kaiju back together? Neither of my two KAIJUs have been durable honestly with my terrible driving
Just got the parts today I will have the Kaiju back together
Looks like a fun truck might get it
You should and make a video, I will watch it
@@killeroffroadhobbyz I will, if i buy it
I have those tires in 1/8 size, Louise brand. They get nice traction but balloon really bad.
im in my apt 24/7 months at a time so im use to it.

The Nomad is a very solid rig
Nomad is a beast I've owned it since new and beat the snot out of it and only proven one arm and the inside driver tray.

Is your steering duel rate turned all the way up? If yes the servo might of crapped out on you.
My v4 talion has same problem. Servo saver spring isn't strong enough. An adjustable servo saver is going to be one of my first upgrades
Amen brotha. I'm in socal and I hear ya. Tired of the bullshit here and they definitely need to get rid of Gavin.
i see your not doing rc videos anymore
Compare to losi tenacity MT ?

@@drw-007 thanks. Finally i chose Tenacity MT and changed the motor to one with less KV. It's much cooler now. Fun truck !
Hey Gary great bash! Hey you wanba sell the stock wheels? 😁
I'm ganna sell the whole truck lol
Damn wat 3s battery did u use cuz that one lasts longer than the ones I have
It's a awanfi 5000mah 60c
KillerOffRoadHobbyz wow that’s crazy cuz I jus ordered 2 of those this morning 😃
KillerOffRoadHobbyz did the 3s 60c burn out the esc? And did u upgrade the esc fan?
Thanks i always appreciate your videos .Im considering gearing my rigs up a little too much and just running on 4s because im going through parts on 6s
just put the durtrax stalkers on it they run way better then the stock. im from cali to man and im out bashing all the time. keep it up.
i put some ProLine Destroyer on mine ;)
Can it handle the S3 on long terms without overheating?
Yes
Hey bro, should I get this truck?
I think it's a very good truck for the price
LOL doesn’t sound too convincing, Kaiju instead?
And could you please recommend some good shocks for my granite BLX
@@dave90678 I would ask Rich Duperbash about that, he's the Arrma upgrade king
@@dave90678 Well yes 100% Kaiju is a awesome rig

My thoughts exactly, do what you’re gonna do and keep your ignorance to yourself.
