All of your cookies are lovely!! You make it look so easy!!
How does one make red royal frosting that doesn't have a bad added color taste? I made bright red and it tasted so bad I could give cookies to anyone.
Also, I added small amount of corn syrup to royal icing. I made black frosting and it did not dry for 2 days. And when it did it got a mottled design on surface. All the other colors worked as expected drying within short period of time with smooth surface. Do you know what might have caused the black frosting to have different finishing quality than other colors?
    Thank you.

Question… why do you do the little squiggles before you flood a space?

This is to prevent craters in small or narrow areas!

Stephanie I have a question: I’ve been scouring your videos to see what you do with your icing bags when you’re not using them. You swap colors or swap to scribe so quickly it seems you must just be laying them on the table? I made your cookies first time this week and I had a blast (batch two waiting for icing to be made tonight) but I tried putting them in cups like I used to for tipped bags but it smashed the tips and meant I had to fix the bag too every time I stopped to scribe or swap colors etc. i left some of the small bags with the least icing laying down on the table but they were the outline and didn’t leak out but was worried about flood bags. Sorry if I missed this in the videos or comments (there is so much to be learned in your comments!!).

Hi! Totally valid question! I always have a couple damp paper towels next to me where I lay my bags down, and I sandwich the tips in the paper towel, and for the flood bags I'll squish the tips between the paper towel so they don't leak. This helps the tips not to crust over and prevent leaks from the flood bags. Sometimes they do leak, but at least it's on the paper towels!

Thank you so much! I used this method for the second batch and it worked very well much better than the glasses plus less dishes!

Do you have any recommendations for people who have very hot hands. I find it frustrating as my hands melt icing.

Hmmm I'm not sure, what if you chilled the bags in the fridge when not in use?

@@LittleCookieCo lol odd question I know but for some reason my hands are so warm. Icing always gets too soft lol gloves maybe ugh lol
