Gm. Here in Philadelphia, USA. It's a beautiful quiet Sunday morning. Coffee, quiet, Max and Occy. Watching your new journey is calming. Yes, honor the history of the first peoples and the land by choosing solid names. Bless you and thank you.
What an awesome property Max 🥰. i can see your Dream come true. Tiny house other plans your thinking of 😜 Occy sure enjoy him self. Exploring resting. Bless him. Gorgeous wild life around you too so sweet 😍 .Zak. did a Great job of Filming ( Bloopers 😂) Success with your plans have a Good week🥰

As parents our number one wish is to see our children happy and healthy. My second thought is to thank you and Occy for putting a huge smile on my face. I look forward to your updates more than any others. Congratulations!
Ditto! I felt the same watching him show us this land, that if you’ve been watching, you know this is so made for him! He loves it! SO I LOVE IT TOO!!!!!
Occy falling asleep in randoms spots around your property makes me think he knows you guys have found your forever home! I’m so thrilled for you, Max! Can’t wait to watch your build series! ❤️
I hope the person that sold you that place, realizes what a good soul he sold that property to. Thank you for the amazing tour and I think that's a good place for OCCY the "adventure dog" to retire at.
New filming format is next-level! Zak does an amazing job and it allows you to move around organically and freely. That low-to-the-ground slowmotion shot from behind you and Occy walking the property with his tail waving back and forth across the screen really created an intimacy and connection. Go Zak! (Of course your property is mighty photogenic so that doesn't hurt.)
@@MaxandOccy but he is not available it can be very limiting and I have seen partnerships like this fall apart and you are back to square one.. Authentic is just fine. Yes Zak did lovely work.. don't limit yourself though
Your old stable looks to be made from local hardwoods, tough as nails and easy to straighten up. A really useful building. A permaculture recommendation is, do nothing irreversible for at least 12 months.
Replace your hot water tank with an on demand gas one, so much more economical with water and power. If you can find a wood combustion stove that would be awesome for your off grid lifestyle. Keep the gas stove too, better for the Summer weather. A new shed, at least double garage sized for wood working and storage will give you added water collection, the biggest water tank you can get will be best, especially as you'll be having lots of visitors. I'd prioritise the shed, you'll be able to build your own furniture then and have space for repairs. The bathroom can wait til Summer, the van's bathroom is fine for now. Occy is so happy and contented in his new home, love seeing him on the doormat!
Occy seems so at home. It's really one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen... It is such special place. I'm so happy that it came to Max. Perfect person for that land! Very excited for the journey ahead!
I hope the termite inspection doesn’t reveal anything too major. One place I lived in once in Brisbane at night I could hear strange noises in my bedroom. I found out when I put my toe through a floor board that the noise I could hear was actually termites chomping on the floor boards!
Occy is just loving his new home. You can clearly see an Occy smile. I really like seeing you so happy and who wouldn't be there. Your property is beyond amazing.
Max, if I could have given this video 100 likes I would. I am so happy for you and Occy. Thank you for the property tour. Max, you are being disciplined, taking care of yourself, while going after your dreams. So excited for you. Excellent filming from Zack.
Oh wow just Magic! Those figs are so beautiful💛As a local in the same area, one suggestion I wanted to pass on is clearing paths in the leaf litter when summer comes. Death Adders love hiding there and don’t move on like Brown snakes, they stay put. Just makes it safer for you and Occy to get around.
I couldn't agree more Max that the traditional owners of this land need to be recognised and their true Wisdom embraced, celebrated and most importantly Respected. The Arakwal people refer to this area as Cavanbah which means 'Meeting Place'.... and it has Van in it 😊There is an amazing person Grant who has an Aboriginal art gallery in Bangalow that's dedicated to First Nations amazing artists. Go visit him and he could possibly get you in touch with some of them to learn more about their history here? I am So Happy for you Max and Occy!!! You both Deserve this Paradise and Peace.... Oh and I also like 'Figwood Forest Farm' 😃
yeah it'd be amazing to do a video with a local elder walking you around the property and giving you a paid tour on the significance of various things around you! and maybe some bushtucker info on plants there etc...!
Congratulations on this beautiful home! Birra Birra is the perfect name to honour this gorgeous land. A perfect place for a home, and a great place for a retreat! Walks and meditation in that rain forest - as long as other dogs are welcome, put me and my dog on that soon to be long list to visit! 😊
I love that suggestion....What is the aboriginal name for a fig tree? Of course the old Aboriginal name Birra Birra, is a little bit different but this one is also known as Ficus rubiginosa.17 Sept 2010
Wonderful to see Occy so happy following you around your beautiful Property. The trees are magnificent and the property exquisite. You are the perfect custodian Max. So happy for you.
Max this is awesome. It looks just like the conservation land that I spent 5 years caring for on the mid north cost of NSW - 200 acres sandwiched between 2 National parks and a state forest. Unbelievable magic. Leaving it was like leaving a loved one and I still grieve it every day. ❤ there were creeks and hikes and 40 ft waterfalls and a 200 year old fig too. It was just the most perfect place on earth. You are living in ancient gondwana rainforest - this is a good start for learning about the trees and wildlife. Our place was previously owned and converted to conservation land by a famous scientist named Mary White who did a lot of research on this special kind of forest. If you can find her books, you will be able to learn more about your new land 😊❤
If you’re building raised beds for your veggie garden (which I strongly recommend) you should definitely make them ‘wicking beds’. Veggies absolutely love them and they’re much lower maintenance and water efficient than other forms of watering. Also, your kitchen compost will be your best friend.
Thanks for your ‘wicking beds’ suggestion. I’ll be installing raised beds soon. Just googled ‘wicking beds’ at your suggestion. Good option for vegetables/annuals!
@@spokinabout2236 have you ever built or used a wicking bed? It is true that they are more work to build than a standard raised bed, but well worth the effort. Aside from the extra initial investment, I’d love to know what you feel the other downsides are?
Given the high rainfall of where his property is located wicking beds may not be necessary, he may be better putting money to protecting his garden from possums, bush turkeys etc. I live close by and I find they're are 1 of my biggest issues. I also 100 percent agree growing fruit and vegetables is very time and labour intensive.
That land is Beautiful and even though I followed you for van life since Mexico, I think I will be happy to watch your transformation of this property. Sadly EVERYONE is doing the same thing, all the old School van lifer's have all bought property now. But this.. This is special. And those fig trees are SO amazing! Good for you.
The name for the clearing should be Lee as in old English it means clearing or meadow or so spiritually it means Healer. The Scottish meaning is sheltered side, calm , peace. Lee was your shelter your calm & your it would be a living legacy & tribute to her as she meant so much to you & so many others. Blessings on your new home, sanctuary & refuge. Lynne Victoria 🇦🇺🐨💖💙💙🙏🏼🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
In the UK they often name towns or places ‘under’ a Forrest name like ‘Shipton under Wychwood’ maybe you could call your property “Tarry under Fig’ ‘Farm under Fig’ or something similar. Such a beautiful period of life ahead of you both. Kindest regards.
You are living my dream! I would definitely fly to Australia to stay at a tiny house in this beautiful area. I'm so happy you have found this spot of paradise to create your dream.
Oh, I love Birra Birra! I think to honor the land and the magnificent fig tree and the indigenous peoples of the area, it is an appropriate and beautiful name! Occy seems to have settled in nicely and, as is his right, stolen the video❤❤ This new chapter of your life is so exciting And I am eager to travel it with you 🥰❤️
Thank You. Thank You for allowing me (and the world) to see a part of your life. The property is beautiful, and the fig is just majestic. Looking forward to watching the changes. Lots and lots of hugs and pets for Occy, he's a gem.
Just wow! I love your property so Much. Birra Birra gave me the best goosebumps. I think the name is perfect. Once the tiny house is available to rent out or offer it to guests, I’d just love to rent it from you for a time. 💕 phenomenal land, and I can see how incredibly happy Occy and you are. On a warmer note, if you ever need a hand, I’m certain others like myself, would love to contribute in helping you build and improve your homestead in the perfect way you envisioned. Let us know how we can help? xoxo -Much luv & light
The Vanwives are on a green thumb journey. A collaboration where they come to Aus and help you build garden beds would be sick. Occy will always steal the show. ❤
That property is so amazing! I'm so happy that you became it's new custodian. I like the idea of recognizing the aboriginal history of the place, that's why my vote goes to Birra Birra. About the veggie patch, I suggest Square Foot Gardening. And since the creek is seasonal and we know how much Occy loves to swim, you may want to check organic/natural swimming pools or swim pond.
Congratulations Max and Occy. I was thinking of an appropriate name for your place and being as Occy has made this journey with you and he's getting up there in years, you should honor his friendship, That's why I think OCCLAND should be the chosen name. Not to be confused with Auckland. You, Occy and the Vanwives have been instrumental in the decision for my retired husband and I to build a campervan. We're just starting our build, Thank you and keep posting. We send our Love and best Wishes from Ontario, Canada.
@@MaxandOccy well it started with a 2017 Transit 350 HD that had engine issues which we were aware of. The motor had to be rebuilt but still a good price regardless. Busy reinstalling the motor so starting the insulation in about a week or so. Can't wait to travel!!
I would meditate on that huge fig tree! What a great way to connect to its wisdom and to the energy of Mother Nature herself! Gorgeous! 💗 Congrats on your new home and all of the wonderful adventures it will provide you and others. 🎊
For the veggie patch: grow cherry tomatoes, do crop rotation in the different garden beds. Set up a worm farm. Buy a can of tea tree spray and spray it on any cuts or scratches from walking around the property. Fantastic place.
Thanks for the tour of your AMAZING property Max. I can’t begin to imagine just how exciting it must be to finally be able to have a place to call your own and what a place it is. I loved hearing all of the birds and just how quiet it is out there. It sounds like you have given a lot of thought with regards to what you want to do with the home itself so I imagine it will be beautiful and very functional when it is complete. I look forward to watching you as you take this incredible journey. Finally, I can’t think of a better place for Occy. He actually looked he was smiling throughout the video. So happy for both of you!!!
You are most welcome mate! And yep, beyond words. Over my initial feelings of being overwhelmed and now just ready to enjoy and kick butt! Stoked to have you along for the ride 🙌🏼
Max, you and Occy hit the Lottery! Visiting Australia is definitely on my bucket list. Would love to spend time on your homestead! Will you consider building a platform/treehouse amidst those gorgeous jungle trees? 😊❤
Wow Max!!! I can't believe how varied and diverse the landscape is within five acres. There's just so much potential to put your own personal stamp on it and have it reflect your individual personality. I love the fact that Occy has felt so at home immediately. It gives him all the space to run, nap, explore and just live his life to the fullest. That's awesome! Once again, congrats and well done, mate!
Is it just me or does Occy look younger in his new environment?? THAT makes me sooooo happy to see. WHAT a spectacular paradise you have now Max!!!! Unbelievable beauty and potential, CANNOT wait to see how you make it your new haven!!! Best luck, as ALWAYS from TN USA❤
I think using Birra Birra would be great as a name. Catchy, and is all about that fig tree. 😊 Maybe Birra Birra Estate or Birra Birra Haven Also, Tyler & Todd made some nice raised garden beds. There is video of course but I assume you probably could contact them directly or through the Vanwives. 😊
Seeing Occy so happy and content is adorable. What an amazing place to have the best tree house. Looks like you could be bulk buying some good work gloves!
How about “OccyBirra”? I’m so pleased for you Max. It’s a beautiful property in a magical part of the world. Occy looks at home and I think he senses the place is special to both of you.
What about running a portable shower outside? Like a Joolca Hot Tap. You could even put it on a cart so you could take a shower anywhere on the property. 5 gallons of water, a small power source, propane and the shower unit. Take a shower surrounded by the trees. Add a bucket with a lid, and you have a full bathroom while you're fixing the current one. I mean, considering how easy it is to just throw that type of system on the outside of your house, a shed or just get a new shed from something like Home Depot where they can build it and you put some insulation in it, they could have their own place. That's really something I'd do. I know you have your van, but I think it would be cool and some extra content to build something like that up. Or what about a travel trailer somewhere until you finish your house? Then you could resell it when everything is done? And I know you're going to need a small truck like Jaz and Crystal have. Something like a Hilux, I hope? You don't want to put miles on your van and have it break down when you don't have to.
Love the bloopers at the end, so fun! Love your new dream property/ home even more so & seeing what you’re doing with it & hearing your plans! I can definitely feel your heart is in the place & and Occy is so happy & free there, so I am excited to see more! Thank you for the inspiration to dream big & your mental wellness awareness! Much love to you & Occy! 💛🙏
What a stunning property but that fig tree is gorgeous!! Aww Occy living his best life love it!! Can't wait to see the creek running! So exciting!! Paws up!!
You could dam a section of the creek and pack it with clay and rocks so there would be a permanent pond for the wildlife. Then setup an infrared camera. Love the property. You are blessed 😇
Does your face hurt from smiling so much 😂 It's a joy to see you and Occy so happy. I remember buying my dream home here in the Catskills, NY (that I call Pondering). Even though there was so much work to be done... I could not stop smiling. I will greatly enjoy watching all of your plans come to life. Blessed be...
Occy is 12. He still has plenty of life left in him yet. My Dobermann turned 12 last week. Few years ago I had 2 kelpies. Both reached the grand age of 20. Your little bit of paradise is beautiful. Can't beat Mother Nature. ❤
Incredible. Well done you. And the former owner! If I could suggest one small thing it would be to move the gardens to a location that is as far away from the cabin as possible, without being taxing in terms of moving crops. No matter what you grow, it will invite all manner of wild guest, be that rodents or more. In the U.S. we have deer and bears that love our crops and they can get a little troublesome if not managed well. The elders have centuries of experience with this. If you are lucky enough to have something like The Foxfire Books in your part of the world, please find them and buy them and read them cover to cover! ♥
Brings back so many memories. Born and raised in The Netherlands, in 1989, after graduating from college at age 19, I spent 3 months in New Zealand and 2 months on the east coast of Australia. Brisbane, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville (one of my favorite places), Mt. Isa, Longreach, and then Lismore, Coffs Harbour (2nd favorite), Port Macquarie, Newcastle and Sydney. I now live in Northeastern USA but seeing your property just brought back wonderful memories of a gorgeous country. I thank you for that. Looking forward to your adventures as a property caretaker!
Occy looks so cute following you around, your new home feels comfy already and now you can take your time and have fun with your creative mind to transform the cottage into Max and Occy's home. So beautiful and magnificent, awe inspiring rain forest.
As a person who loves gardening and is working to create a food forest in the yard of my new home, I find that it restricts my summer travel to just a couple of days at a time, primarily because of the need to water it. I am now in the process of setting up a drip irrigation system with a timer so I can leave for longer periods-although that doesn’t address the need to harvest regularly. Self-sufficiency requires a lot of work constantly.
Max and of course Occy, I live in Mexico in the Mountains so we have a mild climate, between 4C (coldest in winter) and 40C (in spring, dry season) When the rains kick in May-Sep, it keeps the temps between 14C and 25C. We live in a walled in property 10m by 30m with trees (avocado and mango) and lots of flowers and chilies tomatoes etc. The little Kangaroos were just adorable and If that were my property I would toss some lettuce seeds and other yummy edibles that they could enjoy, and they'd have no need to attack the garden proper. Just a thought. For years I tossed mixed seeds into the garden for the birds to enjoy and they have a lot places to drink and bathe (my huge water collecting tubs with the tops inverted to collect roof and rain water. I hope you guys enjoy your paradise as I have mine for 37 years now. Jim Oaxaca Mexico
What an incredible property, Max!! Wishing you and Occy many happy years there! Occy looks right at home, he makes a beautiful doormat. Love, hugs and scratchies for both of you❣️🐾🐾
Fabulous for him, no going up and down to and from the van, no steps in the house, familiar area every day - excellent for a dog of his age, more comfortable.
Spectacularly beautiful place. One suggestion about the garden - I noticed some romaine lettuce - if you choose to grow it just a tip - grow a number of plants and when you want a salad just take a leaf or two off several plants rather than cutting one plant completely - if you do cut the entire plant at ground level it will regrow, however, the lettuce will be bitter so the one or two leaf method keeps it tasting sweet.
Occy is truly loving the space you can tell because he's just so comfortable he goes to sleep everywhere. I would say look to your friends the Van wife's if you want some great ideas they've done some phenomenal work on that abandoned cabin!! Maybe you could talk to them into coming and helping you there!!
The outtakes made me smile. And precious Occy, he is a WARRIOR!! I am in awe of the fig tree. Have never seen such a unique tree before and especially not one 500 years old. Max, you are exuding happiness and peace and it’s wonderful to see. Can’t wait for the next video 😊🐶
Your new property is lovely! Peaceful and serene. The wood burning stove will keep your home very toasty during the cold months-so much warmer than a gas or electric heater! Enjoy your paradise. Perfect for prayer, meditation, contemplation. God bless.
I love your property. Being in nature and the beauty of knowing it's all yours to protect is amazing. And the the fact that you are preserving history is also amazing and important for future generations. Looking forward to what your property will become. 😊
I'm so happy you are there, and getting settled. Let the journey of land life begin!! Can I say, since occy is well seasoned, now would be a great time to get a puppy. It will further make occy young at heart again, which is good for his health, but he will also be a good trainer for a puppy. The puppy will take on lot of his mannerisms, looking up to occy.
I loved the filming style! I’m not much of a vanlife watcher, but I love watching homestead type videos where someone is really maintaining and improving a site, so your next stage of life in RUclips is going to suit me well, just subscribed. Your new home is gorgeous, magical really, can’t wait to see how you work with it :D
Oh Max the place is incredible I’m afraid if I was visiting you would never be able to get me to leave!” Never going to happen I’m old and confined to a wheelchair” Also imo you would never need therapy living there!❤️❤️❤️
Hey Max, Sue and I reckon Zak’s filming was great. It made for a cool angle if that’s the right word. It’s going to be fun seeing the transformation taking place and we can tell how juiced both yourself and Occy are about the property. It’s stunning! And how about that tree!? Wow. Love it
Hey Max! Not trying to overstep here, but since Occy is a senior pup who is starting to stiffen up and lose energy, it’s really important to keep any extra weight off of him. I highly recommend giving his coat a trim - it might shed anywhere from 2-7lbs of hair that he has to carry around. I just lost my senior dog (13yo Bouvier who also had joint problems in the end) and once we did that, she was 5lbs lighter, moved with ease and even got some of her puppy energy back. Can’t hurt to lighten the load. ❤
Hey Max, congratulations on finding such a beautiful place to settle down! I've only just started watching your channel, and I am loving it, as it brings back my younger days back in the 70's when I did the East Coast in a combi van. It was a wonderful adventure, and I eventually found a beautiful property similar to yours, near Cairns. That was 40 years ago, and I never got around to building on it, which was a big dream at the time. Life goes on, and it is still there, waiting for me...... Finally, I am planning to do it, (even though I'm now in my 70's!!! ), and your story is spurring me on. It's never too late! 😊 I can't wait to see what you do there on your place and am looking forward to watching all your future videos!!!!
Hey Max, First time viewer here 👋👋👋 You're a beautiful human. Such positive, sensitive, purposeful, and authentic vibes I'm getting😊 You've won me over! This property is beyond devine and precious. I truly believe you're going to honour the previous owner's intentions, the land, all flora and fauna, plus incorporate your own unique stamp, all the while honouring mother earth and the gift she's given you. I can't wait to see the vision & art you create here. And I'll def be up for a stay when you open it up to the public. Love and light to you. And all the best for this new chapter 🌌🌌🙌🙌🙌✌️✌️
Wow!! I just love your property Max and you definitely have a slice of paradise. You and Occy are so blessed with your rainforests, wildlife, walking tracks ,creeks and ancient trees. Congratulations to you both and I can wait to see how you transform your property. I can see your vision for cabin and guest house and would put it on our wish list for places to stay in future. My heart just melted when Occy fell asleep under the fig having found his forever home.

Thank you so much for this amazing tour of your property! It is absolutely beautiful! I am sure there are no poisonous snakes there. Snakes may be there, but they would stay away from people as much as possible! You have your work cut out for you, Max! In time, it will be everything you dream it to be! Just gorgeous! Occy will slim down and feel so much better running around there! 🌟❤️
I can't get over how incredibly beautiful your land is! I'm having a hard time coming up with a fig-related name for it, so my only suggestion is Haven Lee 💛 (like heavenly). I love all your plans and I'm very glad the outdoor loo gets to remain as a feature on your land 😊. Zak did a stellar job filming and I made sure to give his IG a follow. Loving the bloopers at the end 😂 Much love to you and Oc. 😊
Me neither Mel! Honestly still pinching myself every morning when I wake up to the bird sounds and then go out and admire the view 🙌🏼 And naming wise I am exploring a few regarding the fig but perhaps using the indigenous names for them 💛
Indigenous are being highly exploited whilst using Corporations currently, people aren’t researching to fully understand wheres this is leading all Australians, tread carefully Max, many are also not on board with that Voice. Maybe speak to the local peoples, get a feel for the area first. ❤
And if he didn't want to name his whole place Haven Lee, he could use that name for the open area where he said it would be a good place for a tiny home, Or even better, Heaven Lea. A lea is a meadow, so... (well, imo anyway 😊)
The Fig tree is EVERYTHING! This property is amazing. I’m so happy for you and Occy. I can’t wait to see the home renovations, that you do, and all the revitalization projects. Let the party begin! Congrats Max! ❤
Wow! Beautiful land and filming! Paradise. I love to see Occy so happy! And I also would love to see what wildlife there is. Already saw the little kangaroos ❤ I wish you 2 all the happines and love in your new life.
What about “ La Arboleda” it means grove of trees. In Spanish as well . You will do a fantastic job renovating that spot. I can’t wait to see that transformation. Best of luck! And enjoy it 🎉
Oh my goodness, your soul smile reaches your eyes and your vital spark seems to be back. This is the happiest I have seen you in a while. So very happy for you and Occy! The Sri Maha Bodhi tree (sacred fig) was the tree Buddha attained enlightenment under while meditating. My own thoughts are I think it fits with the Mind and Body theme and your intention for the land. I'm sure whatever you choose will be fitting, so many choices, you have your work cut out just finding a name! 🌳
Well what can I say.. as usual Occy stole the show and our hearts🥲

Occy seems so at home. It's really one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen... It is such special place. I'm so happy that it came to Max. Perfect person for that land! Very excited for the journey ahead!
Occy is honestly just having a ball. Love it 🙌🏼💛
What a wonderful place to run and enjoy !
Green lush and beautiful
I hope the termite inspection doesn’t reveal anything too major. One place I lived in once in Brisbane at night I could hear strange noises in my bedroom. I found out when I put my toe through a floor board that the noise I could hear was actually termites chomping on the floor boards!
Occy is just loving his new home. You can clearly see an Occy smile. I really like seeing you so happy and who wouldn't be there. Your property is beyond amazing.
Thank you Suzanne! 💛
Occy's tree
I don't think there's a greater or more loving gift that you could have given Occy than this beautiful place. Perfection. ❤
Max, if I could have given this video 100 likes I would. I am so happy for you and Occy.
Thank you for the property tour.
Max, you are being disciplined, taking care of yourself, while going after your dreams. So excited for you.
Excellent filming from Zack.
I agree with you
He is looking and sounding happy and healthy
Oh wow just Magic! Those figs are so beautiful💛As a local in the same area, one suggestion I wanted to pass on is clearing paths in the leaf litter when summer comes. Death Adders love hiding there and don’t move on like Brown snakes, they stay put. Just makes it safer for you and Occy to get around.
Goodness! Thank you for passing this information on to him ! :-)
So glad you wrote this because I was thinking about the snakes too.... 👍
Occy is thinking it took us 6 years to drive home but it was worth it.
I agree
Many opportunities for a retreat and multiple vans
Great property
Wonderful to see Occy so happy following you around your beautiful
Property. The trees are magnificent and the property exquisite. You are the perfect custodian Max. So happy for you.
Thank you! 💛
I am so happy for you and Occy. That place looks like heaven on earth. Occy obviously approves of his new home.
A few more flowers for me, then that would be heaven! Frangipani, hibiscus, gingers.
What a lush green property! I am so happy for them :-)
He absolutely loves it 💛
Man, this shows again that life always has something better to offer if something doesn’t work out. This property is made for you and Occy 🥰
Wow that sounds amazing! I'll have a look for her books, thankyou 💛
Love the tour around your new property, Occy is clearly thriving in his new environment. Majestic Fig tree creek.
Good insight !
Reuse the kitchen craps for sure
:-)
wicking beds are containers and much more expensive than simple raised beds. they also have serious down-sides. do your research Max!
Thank you Ellen and let's see how we go with the tiny house 🙌🏼
Oh, I love Birra Birra! I think to honor the land and the magnificent fig tree and the indigenous peoples of the area, it is an appropriate and beautiful name!
Occy seems to have settled in nicely and, as is his right, stolen the video❤❤
This new chapter of your life is so exciting And I am eager to travel it with you 🥰❤️
Totally agree- Berra Berra or Terra Berra (land of the fig) would be great.
Thank You. Thank You for allowing me (and the world) to see a part of your life. The property is beautiful, and the fig is just majestic. Looking forward to watching the changes. Lots and lots of hugs and pets for Occy, he's a gem.
Just wow! I love your property so
Much.
So happy to hear that you're starting a build! How is it going so far? 💛
@@MaxandOccy well it started with a 2017 Transit 350 HD that had engine issues which we were aware of. The motor had to be rebuilt but still a good price regardless. Busy reinstalling the motor so starting the insulation in about a week or so. Can't wait to travel!!
Don’t rush the name!! It’ll show up for you very soon! It will manifest like the property did!!❤
I would meditate on that huge fig tree!
Once again, congrats and well done, mate!
this property is really amazing ! Congrats ! whats about“ giant tree (fig) oasis“ ? 😉
Thank you so much! 💛
@@MaxandOccy You're welcome!
Maybe Birra Birra Estate
or
Birra Birra Haven
Also, Tyler & Todd made some nice raised garden beds. There is video of course but I assume you probably could contact them directly or through the Vanwives. 😊
Watching you run and scramble with so much happiness to show us your favorite spots fills me with joy for you, Max. 💛🙌☀️
Thank you Colleen! 💛 I just love this property so much!
Seeing Occy so happy and content is adorable. What an amazing place to have the best tree house.
Looks like you could be bulk buying some good work gloves!
Birra Birra is a beautiful name for an exceptional property. Well done Max and Occy. May you both have many happy years in your new home ❤️❤️
WOW - breathtaking property, lovely animals (and humans ;) and wonderful filming (+ editing). It was a joy to watch! Thank you for taking us along! 😍
Thank you for watching 💛💛
What a stunning property but that fig tree is gorgeous!! Aww Occy living his best life love it!! Can't wait to see the creek running! So exciting!! Paws up!!
You could dam a section of the creek and pack it with clay and rocks so there would be a permanent pond for the wildlife. Then setup an infrared camera. Love the property. You are blessed 😇
Thank you Better Health. Thanks to everyone who makes talking about being depressed or just struggling with your thoughts. Love you all❤
Does your face hurt from smiling so much 😂 It's a joy to see you and Occy so happy. I remember buying my dream home here in the Catskills, NY (that I call Pondering). Even though there was so much work to be done... I could not stop smiling. I will greatly enjoy watching all of your plans come to life. Blessed be...
Occy looks so happy, as do you Max. It's a stunning property, you both deserve this slice of paradise!!
Occy is 12. He still has plenty of life left in him yet. My Dobermann turned 12 last week. Few years ago I had 2 kelpies. Both reached the grand age of 20.
Your little bit of paradise is beautiful. Can't beat Mother Nature. ❤
Amazing! My Jack Russell/Foxy just turned 12 and he’s a bit grey now but still brilliant 🐾🐾❤️
@@evaadams8298 Gotta love it when they hit double digits. ❤️
"Max and Occy" and "Roaming Reckless" (Maria and Blue) would be so cool!!!
Hey Max and Occy. Love seeing how happy you are ❤️ Bit obvious but Birra Birra retreat or maybe Figgy wood hideaway. Have a blessed week 🙏❤️
Love, hugs and scratchies for both of you❣️🐾🐾
I’m thrilled for you and Occy! What a Majestic property! Occy and you look so happy ♥️ Thank you to your friend for filming.
Enjoy the adventure!
Absolutely beautiful and I love how Occy knows it’s his home. Great video!
Fabulous for him, no going up and down to and from the van, no steps in the house, familiar area every day - excellent for a dog of his age, more comfortable.
The Frugal Fig, or The Frugal Figgy, Farmstead! Love seeing you with Eamon & Bec and Jazz & Crystal/Vanwives!
I like this idea!
Thanks Zak for filming such a beautiful property. Thanks Max & Occy 😊 for inviting us into your space, sharing and showing us around.
Isn't it so beautiful?! 💛
Your new property is lovely! Peaceful and serene. The wood burning stove will keep your home very toasty during the cold months-so much warmer than a gas or electric heater! Enjoy your paradise. Perfect for prayer, meditation, contemplation. God bless.
Love that shot of Occy walking behind you
I love your property.
Also, give Occy some love and scritches for getting his tail perfectly over you in the shot. I literally lol'd
Seeing dear Occy with Max warms my heart.
Absolutely gorgeous land !!!!! Love how OCCY is living his life ♥️🐾🐾♥️👌🏻
Oh Max the place is incredible I’m afraid if I was visiting you would never be able to get me to leave!” Never going to happen I’m old and confined to a wheelchair” Also imo you would never need therapy living there!❤️❤️❤️
No hay nada tan invencible c0mo la mente y en eso estás❤
although it's winter here right now so maybe not until Summer! Even northern NSW around where he is, nights get cold
I can't wait to see what you do there on your place and am looking forward to watching all your future videos!!!!
Hey Max,
First time viewer here 👋👋👋
You're a beautiful human. Such positive, sensitive, purposeful, and authentic vibes I'm getting😊
You've won me over!
A bazillion likes for this video. You and Occy seems so full of even more happiness. I'll bet he loves being stationary! Keep living the dream. You are an inspiration to us all and yes, that includes Occy.
I love Birra Birra! This video felt like a meditation session, absolutely loved it. Occy has all my heart ❤ Your new home looks like heaven on earth, thank you for sharing it with us ❤❤
Superb property, it looks magical. One suggestion/possibility for vege beds - self watering beds can be great in terms of water conservation
What a slice of paradise you’ve found! And I can’t recall ever seeing Occy that happy 😊Beautiful video, Zak is a legend 👍🏻
Hey Max thanks for the tour of your sensational property! Occy looks very happy with the open spaces & SO happy for you both! 🍻🤗🇦🇺💙💙
Beautiful property. The indigenous name for fig is Birra Birra (according to google), which could work as a property name :)
I am 10000% certain I was eyeing this property when I was browsing real estate. Glad it went to you!
Dreams really do cometrue 🎉🎉🦮💙💙✊🏼
And if he didn't want to name his whole place Haven Lee, he could use that name for the open area where he said it would be a good place for a tiny home, Or even better, Heaven Lea. A lea is a meadow, so... (well, imo anyway 😊)
The Fig tree is EVERYTHING! This property is amazing. I’m so happy for you and Occy. I can’t wait to see the home renovations, that you do, and all the revitalization projects. Let the party begin! Congrats Max! ❤
Isn't it amazing? I'm obsessed 💛
Wow! Beautiful land and filming! Paradise. I love to see Occy so happy! And I also would love to see what wildlife there is. Already saw the little kangaroos ❤
I wish you 2 all the happines and love in your new life.
