Dont let a harmless Huntsman spider and a lizard scare you and hold you back. I've lived here 54 years. There's nothing to worry about. You will see more wildlife on Max's property than most though, as it's rich vegetation.

Just keep in mind cows, horses and dogs each cause was more deaths than all the spiders, snakes etc, put together!

Hahaha, so the name of the lizard… get this… is a Land Mullet and its the largest skink found in Australia and one of the largest in the world. We first encountered one at Dangar Falls on Waterfall Way and thought it was the most beautiful lizard we’d ever seen. How awesome to find them at your home

This advice from a grannie - WEAR GLOVES! You don't want bites from all kinds of critters, so after I got all varieties of bites, stings, cuts and scratches doing yard work I bought 3 pair of gloves. Hands are a whole lot better! lol Big hug to beautiful Occy.

Max, just a suggestion . . . Wear work gloves for everything. The protection will keep you safe from getting stuck, bit and stung and provide an extra level of protection against anything. Stay safe!

I've been with you all for years. I started off with Bec and Eamon, found the Vanwives and found you and Leh as well, went through all of that portion of all of your lives, up until today. I will tell you, you have the best looking property of all 3 of your channels, and hope nyour cabin gets to where you want it to be. When you have a smile on your face the whole video, it's good. The property is so beautiful. Having your own figs, bananas, oranges and mulberries is icing on the cake. Good plan to make life comfy now, while you work on the cabin. You'll enjoy summer with that deck! Tyler and Todd were wise to make their dome livable, since their house is taking years and years to build. No mullet. Salt and pepper curls!
You do look happy. It just shows how strong you really are to be able to get real with yourself no matter how you are feeling and then get busy on what you and Occy are building in your new home. I love the mullet because friends “gifted” it to you. 😁 Kinda suits you too.
Max, you can create a roof above the deck on the side of your van with mosquito netting. This will provide you a dry entrance deck in the winter season and protection against mosquitos and other insects. In summer it will provide shade and cooler temperatures.

It is just hair! I lost mine to chemo. Before it was long like Becs was before her cancer. The way Eamon went into it reminded me over when my kids cut mine when my hair was falling out.
