  • HOW TO CLEAN FOGGY FADED HEADLIGHT on Mazda 2 3 5 6 cx-7 cx-9 cx-5 cx-3
    If you have Mazda and your headlights are faded, foggy, yellow and you want to polish your headlights and make them shiny and crystal clear like brand new we will show you how to do that. We used wet sandpaper and water to remove the burnt layer off the headlights, they we used a few compounds to make the headlight shiny and crystal clear. If you want to keep your headlights in great shape apply polishing compound every 6 months and they should stay in great shape.

    I'm not trying to be stupid but I believe The gloss works designation is a product line within the chemical guys brand. They have a few things called glossworks. Are you referring to the Chemical Guys GAP_618_16 Glossworkz Glaze (16 oz)? Because they have since changed their labels so I wanna make sure I am buying the correct product. I love how your headlight turned out.

      You can buy new headlights but they’ll go dull after a while anyway sooooo where’s the logic in that? You can rent tools but the buffer is cheap anyway, they’d probably charge you the same amount it costs to buy a used one

    You need to put a uv coating on at the end, otherwise they will just fade and discolour again. The stuff you use will not do the job, also if you put UV coating on there will be no need to polish every 6 months.

    GUYS GUYS GUYS! I have a 2013 Mazda two and the headlights are so bad that sometimes it doesn't look like they're on. They no longer feel smooth and glossy when I fun my finger over them. The thing is, I'm terrified of doing this; it sounds like you're just putting scratches in them and making them even more foggy. Even ruining them. Someone reassure me that this is the correct course of action for me. I'M SCAAARED!

    • @spencer2721
      @spencer2721 4 года назад +4

      Not at all, all you should be doing is taking away the discoloured UV coating, so should not affect the plastic. Where they are going wrong is not putting a new UV coating on at the end.
