I'm glad you kept the unsuccessful runs ! Tinkering with builds is such big part of that kind of game, it really showed how the game can punish you for draft decisions that sound really clever, but will often at first be disasterously weak until tweaked, or abandoned haha. We can all relate with that 😅 It seems like something I'd enjoy and I love the manga/anime esthetics a lot. Going to try a box or two, thanks a lot for sharing with us !
Hi Mike, Hopefully ok to ask on a older video, But how do you find Blade Rondo overall for its solo mode after some time? Is it something that you still want to play, do you still want to keep it in your collection (or at least keep 1 of the blade rondo boxes in your collection). I would be interested in getting a 1v1 anime-style battle cardgame and then mainly for solo (I know you should not just get a game duo its art, but I do enjoy the anime artstyle). But I am not sure which of the blade rondo boxes to go for, or maybe you recommend going for a different game like Sakura arms. Many thanks in advance!
This one is fine, but I didn’t end up keeping it. I’m biased, but if you want a great fighting game with solo play I’d go for either exceed or Sakura arms. I designed unofficial solo modes for each that are pretty popular. You can watch videos of them here on the channel to see if they appeal to you.
@@OneStopCoopShop Thanks you for the reply! Also saw Sakura Arms already but always a bit on the fence when it comes to unofficial solo modes. But if in the end its a more fun experience then I will look into it!
@@OneStopCoopShop Exceed is my favorite dueling game, and I've been wanting to get my Sakura Arms to the table for a long time. I'll check out your solo rules!

Awesome. I've been waiting for this game to arrive. A fine dueling game with great solo mode
Love the variety when you try the different sets.

I win this one so infrequently it'd be hard NOT to show unsuccessful runs ;)
