Drawing from the Quranic text and historical insights, he explores the concept of purity and unity within the Muslim ummah, challenging preconceived notions of racial and cultural superiority. By highlighting Allah's mercy and wisdom in extending His message across diverse nations, he underscores the Quran's universal appeal and its capacity to enrich and unify humanity through shared knowledge and experiences.

This talk about ummah and cultural differences is really clicked on me, in Indonesia there's some group of people called "wali songo", you can translated as 9 saint basically (but i recommend you to look it up yourself, because my english isn't very good, i might missinterpret it), these peoplo are know for their effort in spreading islam in Nusantara (prior name of Indonesia), especially in Java, a land with lot of people, even up until now Java is like the central of population, the capitol Jakarta is located in west java (soon gonna be move though), this is an example of what mr. Nouman explain about umma and cultural differences, and these wali songo know for spreading Islam in various ways that can be accepted by the people, like puppet show now known as wayang, or even a music (yes, spreading Islam with music), the food "ketupat" wich is very well known as food in Idul Fitri is a fruit of aculturation between Islam and the people's culture. It's so interesting to learn differences in perspective of Islam, and how Allah design all of this

Fun fact: the writers of main hadith source (kutubus sittah - the Six Books) are 'ajm (non-Arab). They are:
Imam Bukhari - from Bukhara, now part of Uzbekistan
Imam Muslim - from khurasan, now Neyshapur, now part of Iran
Imam Tirmidzi - from Termez, now part of Uzbekistan
Imam Ibnu Majah - born in Qazvin, now part of Iran
Imam Abu Dawud - born in Sistan, now part of Iran
Imam Nasa'i - from Nisa, now part of Turkmenistan
But they were all doing far journeys to study Islam and hadith

Plus Imam Ahmad - from Baghdad, Imam Darimi - from Uzbekistan. Maybe only Imam Malik who never travel too far, he study and teach only in Madinah.
I haven't detailed on what defined as an "Arab." But some of them are also from Arabic tribes, but born not in hijaz regions.

When i started tafseer of Dr Israr Ahmed i heard somewhere that youll need high urdu knowledge to understand his tafseer but for me it was just like normal urdu we speak now. Now that usyad stated this point, Dr israr did say some tough urdu words which people dont understand now, sometimes me as well 😅 (May allah grant him highest ranks in jannah Ameen)
So being a part of that nawabi urdu seems like a reward now at times

Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was sent for the whole world, all nations, and every other prophet was sent for a specific time or tribe. The closest one is Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was concerned for all nations, even though he was not sent to all nations. He made a dua for all nations, he wanted to help all nations but he wasn’t sent to all nations.
One of the unique things about Islam is that the Quran wasn’t challenging the least knowledgeable of the other religions, it was challenging the most knowledgeable people of the other religions.

Ma sya Allah. It's enlightening when Ustadz Nouman about the languages of ummah. I am from Indonesia. We speak Bahasa Indonesia as the main language which is more or less the same as the Malay language (Bahasa Melayu). According to Prof. Syed Naquib Al Attas, Bahasa Melayu in fact absorbs many Arabic words.

When we read the Urdu translation of Quran the world veil(hijab) is translated as dupatta...because in the sub continent veil is used only on the body not on the head . Later I realised Arabs meant a head veil/face veil and not a body veil...

One of the reasons why #Muhammed pbuh is the last messanger...
Does the 7th century have any significance in human history with respect to capturing and transmitting information to future generations?
The 7th century is significant for historical documentation due to several key developments:
    1. **Islamic Golden Age**: The Quran and Hadiths were meticulously recorded and preserved, marking the beginning of this era.
    2. **Byzantine and Sassanian Empires**: Both empires maintained detailed records of political, military, and administrative activities.
    3. **Chinese Tang Dynasty**: Known for its advancements, the Tang Dynasty kept detailed month-by-month records of significant events.
These factors contributed to more structured and reliable historical documentation during the 7th century.
