I can just imagine how wonderful that smells! Side note, in case you're a morning shower sorta person: this would be best used once the sun has gone down or if you're layering on clothes or some sort of uv protection because grapefruit essential is photosensitive, which means it makes your skin extra prone to sun damage. But it smells amazing. Maybe my favorite.

This is right up my street. I've been using essential oils since I started getting massages 6 years ago. I've never made this recipe. It'll definitely be going in my note book. I suffer from a bloated tummy because I have a spinal condition and I'm on a lot of pain meds. By the end of the day I'm in a lot of pain and my belly can swell up to the point that I look pregnant. I'm hoping this will flush out the negative effects of my medication and get rid of my tummy a bit. Thank you so much for the video 💕💕

I've been a long time follower of this channel and appreciate the diverse content that you have to offer, but as a physician can't help but wonder why the explanations to these topics do not have any scientific evidence behind them. Water retention happens because of fluid and electrolyte shifts within different lumens in the body, in ALL of our cells, not necessarily because of your lymph nodes. I don't think there is sufficient evidence to support that using essential oils and massaging them into areas of our lymph nodes will somehow have a "diuretic" effect. I would suggest not to give this type of medical advice to your audience, because there are medical conditions out there that result in abnormal water retention and those people should seek medical attention/advice from their doctor and may need to take medications that can directly act on water content. Not trying to diss the whole essential oil craze, but there is a fine line between lifestyle and health/medicine and I would implore everyone to try to do their research and take internet advice with a grain of salt. Maybe try to put in a disclaimer in these types of videos next time.

Aimee Le Totally agree, I’m actually feeling less enthused about the channel unfortunately now that there seems to be more of this type of content.

Lymphatic massage is recognized by the medical board as a valid thing and you need a license to do it.

Sarah Vandervliedt what medical board? where? something being recognized by an organization does not mean that there is evidence to support it as being an effective treatment.

I totally agree, everything on this new channel is just „in trend“.
The videos about beauty and meal recipes have nothing scientific and they are made by people who don‘t have done any studies. They have read a book or did a research on google.
It was better to stay at make up.
      (Sorry for my english)

True, people should seek medical advice first, because healing only one issue is boring. It´s a lot more fun to add extra some side effects of all those scientifically proven methods. Speaking from my personal experience. I do not think that there is sufficient evidence to support that current scientifically proven methods are the best possible options for humans :D People have the right to choose. And I personally do not choose physicians because they have lied to me the most and have made the most damage to my health.

I made this recipe last night and massaged it into the areas of lymph nodes just before bed. Spent so well and my problem with night time water retention was so so much better! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. XX

I love her accent, this videos, all the oils. It's such a joy to watch. But I feel like this method is about as evidence-based as converting metal into gold. Why do we need these specific oils? How would that massage really stimulate lymph nodes? I treat this more as entertainment than effective advice.

Its benefits and best uses as well are castor oil packs good for the elimination of fibroids whether in breasts or womb? Thanks again

Great video! Is it ok to use it during pregnancy? I remember Violette mentioning in older video that she had problems with water retention during her 2nd trimester and I wonder how she dealed with it...maybe she already tried this ? I am also pregnant right now and I would like to try it if it’s appropriate. Thank you for this video it sound great to use it even as a routine to make you feel good. I am hoping for more videos like this in future...can’t wait for the next episode :)

When I saw the title I thought she was making some kind of hydrating toner for the face ... then she started with the oils and the whole video I was wondering what the hell this was for... a face serum? Body oil? Room spray? Something for inhalations? A candle? The explanations where kind of poor... even if I believed in the magic of essential oils and wanted to do this I wouldn’t know how to do this massage.. she just rubs it on her arm!
I would have preferred a longer video with better explanations and more than one recipe (and a better title)

I felt the same. I thought this was some kind of flush for the system, like drinking some kind of water to detox your body. Now I realize it’s basically a cellulite treatment 😂😂 grapefruit and cypress are very popular and supposedly effective essential oils for massaging into the skin and reducing cellulite.

RUclips is not putting your videos in my subscription list. So annoying. That being said, I would never use this concoction. Essential oils are sensitizing to skin and the harm far outweighs any benefit. I’ve suffered with too many rashes and photosensitivity in my life to be able to support this.
