I currently only Svs Ultra towers and they do a very, very good job with 2-channel stereo music so I just want to make sure that I'm taking a step up if I go with jtr
As long as you go with real JTR LCRs you will be amazed. Don’t try the 110 surrounds for mains like I’ve seen people do. I have the the JTR 212 HTRs for LCRs, two 110 hts and 2 Captivator 2400’s. They make my old SVS center channel sound like a sound bar. The SVS center could never play as loud as I wanted especially in the vocals out of the center channel and if I tried it would lose dynamics and become harsh. The JTRs ran off my Emotiva processor are crisp, dynamic and play as loud as I want while keeping the clarity and dynamics.
@@MrMichaelEsser you would just have to hear the difference. More full and realistic. Svs and Klipsch our great companies and I loved their speakers. Me wanting to have a horizontal center channel just didn’t agree with their small centers. If you heard a 212 HTR as a center channel I think you would understand. Do you run a horizontal or a big vertical center channel behind an acoustic transparent screen?
I was thinking about my super chat question after the fact and thought of an even better one. What would all four of your guys individual top preferences for an LCR be with a total limit of $12000-$15000 liking to stay around $12000 but would rather buy once cry once. One option for needing a horizontal center and one option if you could run all three vertical. The HTRs being nice because the center can be ran in both configurations. Would really help my search and others probably as well. I’ve searched adamantly for quite a while now knowing that being ready to invest this much in my love for home theater I probably won’t get another chance to switch speakers anytime in the near future if ever. My use ratios being 90-95% movies and Tv with only 5-10% music. Searching the world of home audio can be so confusing. I’ve had klipsch and svs but looking for end game if that really even exists. I have an emotiva xpa7 if that helps but willing to look for a little more power down the road if necessary. The xpa puts out 200 watts to 8 ohms and around 300 watts to 4 ohms. If you have time to help me with this question I thank you in advance.
@@tkcdac I originally had the Svs’s which were nice but not end game by any means. Then after this post I pulled the trigger on the JTRs. 3-212 HTRs, 2-110 hts and 2 Captivator 2400’s. They are amazing and I still get amazed daily especially by their clarity, dynamics, power and bass. When you hear Morgan Freeman’s deep voice you almost second take to make sure he is t in the room with you…🤣… The subs output is crazy good and usually needs to be turned down instead of up and has never left me wanting more. I definitely recommend them as long as your patient and can wait the 2-3 months to get them…

@@JoshuaPeters3036I can't imagine that they are so much more detailed and crispy then Klipsch or SVS

Thank you Tim Perry
Your always welcome!!! And thank you for saying thank you.
JTRs look like they would sound like loud PA speakers, not hi fi.

Did you pull the trigger?

Why was it cut short?
Is jtr really good for music as well because I do a lot of 2-channel music as well as home theater
How does JTR compares to Perlisten....or Arendal?
I want to go with two Noesis 210rt's and one Noesis 210rm as my center. Tell me your thoughts based on my other comments if you can, please.
3 way
You should compare JTR's to RTJ's, not SVS
Lol at svs < JTR
