I tell Jesus everything...like everything..like a real gossip. Then I sit n wait for a response after emptying myself. My reward always is here you did well..here not so well...lets wait, you can do it..am here slwslj with u on this one etc. Just like that in hr passes. I love adoration. I will try the 5 steps
Adoration is one of my very favorite parts about being Catholic! It's wonderful. Always tugs my emotions right out for everyone to see. They offer adoration every thursday at my parish that i'd like to go to once I can drive.
What I do during adoration. - Rosary, and my prayer rope with the Jesus prayer - spiritual reading: read small section of the Bible meditate on those verses, other spiritual books. - the divine office: major hour or minor hour depending on the time of the day. - read prayers from a prayer book. Vocations prayer, prayer for priest, prayer to the sacred heart, etc. I have one titled (Manuel of prayer, which was designed for seminarians, pretty good one).
@@colleen7092 It is an Eastern Catholic devotion. While Catholics in the Latin Rite mostly pray the Rosary, for the East, it is the Jesus prayer. “Lord Jesus Son of God, Have Mercy on Me a Sinner.” You pray the Jesus prayer with the prayer rope to count how many you do.
Hi Amber, i like to neel during adoration. I like silence. I like to say the rosary, divine mercy chaplet and sometimes just talk to God, and ask Him to help me and all those that I am praying for. Love your channel Amber. And i love your deep faith. I am sure it is an inspiration to others. I love to see people with a strong faith and not afraid to witness, and put out videos like you and several others. And especially from the younger generations like you. I think other younger people will be inspired. I am an old man, and you inspire me! God bless you and all your family. Keep up this vital work. Terry from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Your guardian angel info... about please go remind father I'm waiting and then he shows up, that made me giggle. So true. People do often fail to ask their guardian for help.
I used to read the bible, do the rosary and just have a conversation with the Lord but that changed as I became custos of my local church and sacristan a couple of weeks ago and somehow developed a good friendship with my priest. Now we go into adoration right after Thursday morning mass, Thursday is our day of adoration in our parish's main church, so when my priest is getting the monstrance ready I wait and kneel as the Lord passes by then follow the priest into the chapel and we start adoration with a few hymns, either in Latin or Dutch depending what the priest is compelled to do. Then we spend a few moments in prayer before we leave to give visitors time with the Lord so we only spend about 10-15 min tops in adoration but we spend a lot of hours around the Lord to the point that we joke he's getting tired of us 😂
When you said your ears ring in adoration I thought of what my grandmother use to say. She said that when you ear(s) start ringing that is your guardian angel communicating with you.
Thank you for all the videos you create Amber! Praise God for giving you the platform to help us. You've been a huge help in my reversion journey. God bless you! (:
I’m glad you’re knee doing well. I sometimes forget not everyone dislocates on a daily basis like me with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I go to adoration once a month before young adults. If you ever need tips on dislocations I got you dislocations happen multiple times a day for me because of EDS
Oh my! The same thing happened to me! I broke my arm and I haven’t prayed, gone to church or read scripture! My husband is pushing me to pray again. I’ll push myself. You push yourself to.
Hi Amber, thanks for the video! As for me, many times I keep looking at Jesus present in the host, pouring out my feelings as it comes out naturally especially during adoration. Adoration usually brings out new thoughts within me and renews me in a special way. I also feel inspired to meditate on certain aspects of my life and life in general. I don't really read the Bible much or anything else as such during adoration. Also I don't go to the adoration chapel too often, only maybe once in a week but I like to spend atleast an hour in it when I do. I also liked the guardian angel trick you spoke about, it would be helpful to me too at times! 🙏🙏🙏
What a delightful, insightful discipline of suggestions to do for Adoration. THANK YOU. My first exposure to Ms Religious Hippie and I shall reference her for self knowledge as well as preparation for the PSR children I teach - THANK YOU and Bless you.
Great tips!! I am blessed with Adoration once a week and twice a week on the first week of the month. It’s feeling like it’s just not enough time in His presence but I’m struggling getting over to be with Him in this beautiful way more. Any ideas on making more time happen? 🤔 I am happy to feel that I am on the right track. My “spiritual bag” has my book, consecration binder, rosary and note pad n’ pen in it always!! 😅🔥🥰
Thank You.we have a Eucharistic Kneeling every Thursday after the Mass and also every day Holy Rosary before the Mass.you said good about the distractions we have against hearing voice of God,but He always speak to everybody and give everything what is need for go trough day.and He also make days.He gave us everything,Sister.
For me I do what I call free lance prayer or adlib prayer. I just talk to God sometimes the saints or our holy mother but mostly God although lately I have been asking st Raphael to intercede for me as I can’t seam to find a Christian woman let alone Catholic. And I may be the only early 20s in my whole diocese. Oof
As a new Catholic I need some guidance on Adoration. When I enter the church for my hour, do I wait for the previous patron to leave before I enter. Can you set anywhere. Do I wait for the next hour attendant to arrive before I leave. Do you ever speak to anyone during Adoration. Any guidance is appreciated.
In simple words, adoration is coming before the physical presence of Jesus himself which we Catholics believe is in the piece of bread contained in the Eucharistic Monstrance. Most churches have a small chapel having this Eucharistic Monstrance in front. Others may not have a chapel but may have adoration in the church on some days for a specific time period. 🙏🙏🙏
Hello, I remember Amber Rose has told this story and if I remember correctly, her friends started calling her a hippie because of the way she used to dress and when she got back into the faith, over 2 years ago, her friends begun calling, Amber, the religious hippie. Hopefully that makes sense, as well, is correct and there aren't any grammar mistakes, as English isn't my first language, if not Amber Rose is going to clarify, probably. Have a great day :)
I've just started going to regular adoration. It's on my schedule so I don't forget. I either go to EWTN or go to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Both in Alabama and with temps in the 90s and I'm elderly, I go in the mornings where it's cooler. I take my iPad which has about every Catholic and Protestant Bible translation there is. The same app has all the early church fathers, commentaries, dictionaries so I can immerse myself in God's Word. IPad also has several prayer apps. I also have my iPhone and iPad programmed so when I'm at any of my regular churches, it automatically turns all notifications off, silence everything and no calls can come through. I cannot stand to hear a cell phone go off during mass. I just found your channel and subscribed.
Dislocating a knee is possibly the most Catholic injury in the history of injuries.
Thank Jesus for your help with this God bless you with many blessings to come amen 🙏 😇💞😊🙏😇💞💞😊🙏

Attending a TLM soon as a Protestant. Getting a missal on my Kindle as it might not arrive before I attend.
God bless!
Don’t worry too much about the missal since it’s your first time. Just relax and take in the experience.
Praise Be to God!

Can you do a video on the scapular? Can anyone wear one? What’s involved. Please

Much love to my Roman Catholic and Protestant brothers and sisters.
I converted to Orthodox church about six years ago...best decision of my life.
Come home to Rome brothers

Instead of going to a adoration chapel. There's 24/7 adoration on RUclips.
Yes, however, Jesus isn’t really present on your screen. He is in the Sacrament
