      Hi! I'm curious, what do you guys prefer on the GSXS to the S1000 ? (gather you are talking bout the r not rr).

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414 3 года назад +4

      @@LeonSh4dow just wheels and an engine, all you need and nothing you don't. Smaller engine so you can ride it harder more of the time which makes it more fun. Put in the key, jump on and ride. No messing about with settings etc. Customisable and relatively cheap to do and fantastic value for money and very reliable. And let's not forget about soul and character. Which the S1000R lacked in my opinion.

    • @LeonSh4dow
      @LeonSh4dow 3 года назад +1

      @@twistandgo3414 I agree on the power aspect you mentioned. After having had a few powerful bikes I sometimes regret my first bikes that had less power cuz you could rev em up...if you open up full throttle on a 160-200hp motorbike, you're either gonna lose your license or run out of tarmac lol
      My second bike was a 2013 Gsr 750 and still havn't had a chance to try the updated version, that's why I'm curious. I can't figure out if I'd end up regreting a downsize.
      Not so sure about your opinion on settings tho, the s1000r is easier and quicker to setup in my eyes - no suspension setup, just let the bike work it out for you nd if you got someone on the back, just press a button and the rear suspension does all the work for you, whereas on the Suz you gotta get your tools out. Maybe the BMW is a little bit too "performance orientated" and precise so therefore less soul...
      Lots of things to consider 🤔

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414 3 года назад +1

      @@LeonSh4dow Dont get me wrong, I loved my S1000R, its the best bike ever had, hands down and I've had A LOT of bikes! . I'm not saying there isn't a place for a bigger engine, depends on individual circumstance too as to what you want. Im fortunate to have a couple of bikes so have a few boxes ticked. S1000R had every toy and gizmo I thought I wanted until I had it... The Semi active suspension was great but I love the simplicity of the 750 and usability of it. Would I have another one? Yes I would.

    When I worked for an American factory road race team that did dyno runs all day on super bikes, I learned a few things about those runs. One thing for sure, you aren’t doing the clutch or valves any favors by pulling in the clutch after a full pull for a couple seconds and then releasing it. The pros would apply the rear brake to get the dyno drum slowed down to a much lower speed while the clutch was pulled and then release it. What’s the explanation behind your method Chris?

    I have a 2019 GSXs 750, just curious what you hooked up the ECU up to to tune it?

    750z gang! Motivates me to send mine eventually. How many miles you have already? Bought mine in May and got 7,4k off just mountain twisties 😅

      Miles after the tune*

      I got a short ride in two days after the tune and felt a big difference in the low rev range as well as smoother throttle throughout. Perfect touch to take the twisties to a whole new level.

    why such a difference between gsxr 750 & S750 , on the bandit 12 its common to fit gsxr 750 intake cam fattens up mid range ,if you fit both then its too top endie

    Hello what type of gas you recommend after ECU Flash? Manual calls for 91 aki (95 ron) for stock bike, any benefits of higher octane like 93 aki (98 ron)?

    So, I can get a tune on my bike with a PC5 (dyno) and get it flashed at a later date? Or am I under thinking?

    Hi sir, I just want to take this opportunity if you can help me find a stock full exhaust for my suzuki gsx s750 2019 model and oxygen sensor since a c44 error code is continuously popping out in my speedo meter. I hope you can help me with my concern, I'm a fan from the Philippines.

    I understand that the engine in this bike is the same as the GSX R750, just tuned differently to give a little more low end grunt. Could you take the tune from the R and use it in the S?

      If you never got an answer, I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that it's got a different cam in it and it wouldn't work.

    Thinking about buying a 2022. How drastic would it be to get it into the 115-120hp range with good pull? TBH I've never been over 120mph, but coming from an R6 power is addictive. Going this route due to back surgery and the riding position is more suitable. Last question, is it a massive job doing a cat delete,and would that produce any efforts worth doing it. Obviously I know I would have to get a new headers. Any info would be nice. Not any places like yours in Columbia Tennessee.
