    Stock headers produce more torque because of airflow restrictions. I noticed that on my Kawasaki z1000. I actually got tire spin from 1-3 full throttle. Now with aftermarket headers and sc project slip ons it has a lot more horsepower and hold the hell on acceleration. 😂😂

    With the catalytic converter gone, the AF ratio leans out because of more airflow...but why was the ECU incapable of adjusting or learning that new airflow and then corrects the AF accordingly?

    • @samuel123478
      @samuel123478 4 года назад +3

      You could get away with not returning but it would cause quicker parts wear... kinda sucks BUT whenever you change anything on the motor (parts that effect how it runs) it’s a good idea to get it re-tuned. A high performance air-filter would allow more air into the system (so more power (: ) but it would then throw off the fuel/air ratio which could cause the bike to sputter and act weird high in the rev range. Sorry for typing you a book!

    Love the channel and your good work! I noticed after the tune your A/F ratio was in the low 13s which is a bit richer than what many consider ideal (14.7). Do you do this for additional torque or to run cooler, or something? Or am I missing something? Say I'm looking for a tune with maximum combustion- MPG and power are equals for me, but longevity is vital as well, could I have it tuned to be in the mid 14s? Honest question, you're the knowledgeable expert on this one, hopefully you could reply! Thanks.

    • @kennethpowers8995
      @kennethpowers8995 4 года назад

      Two Brothers is basically bargain bin budget parts and don’t usually get the best reviews for sound. Being that sound is your primary focus I would listen to some audio clips so you can start to form your own opinions on sound but for the modern GSXR family it’s hard to beat a Yoshi TRC-D. This is a race spec system and I feel it sounds amazing plus frees up a good bit of power with a tune like Moore’s. The Yoshi R-77 is usually a fan favorite as well. A lot of people run just the Alpha slip on too but I don’t feel the sound is as crisp and racy as the others. If you enjoy loud but still amazing bike exhausts the Akra titanium is a winning ticket every time for me as well. It’s a MotoGP/megaphone style setup so volume is definitely there but it sounds like heaven.

    The 750 must not of got any changes in years, back in the day my 2001 gsxr750 did 136 with a full harpoon exhaust.

      hey bro Email him or call him, send him your ECU and tell him what you have done to your bike (exhaust, air filter, etc) Dont get it tuned first if you plan on doing a full exhaust for example later on.

    I've got a question do velocity stacks work on the intakes for more power? And is it possible to make a GSXR 750 as quick as a 1000 when I asked that question I used to have a 2004 Gixxer 1000 it was all stocked I recently purchased a 2007 GSXR 750 with the power Commander 3 and a slip on and I'm wondering if I can get it close to what my gsxr 1000 was thank you very much and I love your channel!!!

    • @anonimus4639
      @anonimus4639 3 года назад

      Yes,v.stack work great for power,but dual v. stacks(4 short+4 tall) work moore better! Dont forget,the 1000 have a lot more nm compare to 750! And on the same rpm the 1000 have a good 20-30 hp more than the 750!My 1k1 bone stock make 132whp @10500,my k7 750 bone stock make 122 @ 13300! Big difference! On the 1000 if i open the throttle fast, I had to hold on to my life, it was so fast when accelerate..on the 750 i dont feel this..
      But yes,you can do the 750 as fast,or faster than oldes 1000.
      At the end the 750 can put down 160-170 whp,and a 170 kg wet! But its cost a lot of money..
      Cost side the best way is turbo,or supercharger route..750 can hold 220-230 whp with stock internals . Its enough to eat the new 1000,busas,14s,ducatis..with forged internals you can make 300-320 whp..over this the bike cant hold this power on the street,must be lowered,and streched..
      If the money dont the big problem,
      1. weight reduction(carbon fiber parts) you can go down to 170 kg wet!(including c.f. wheels,which alone -5kg rotating mass= 35kg unsprung weight)
      With this you can feel the bike,like +30hp or so.
      2. supercharge it. 230 whp+ weight loss 30hp..and you have feel like you ride a good 260 whp bike..
      Of course you can put all this money for your 1000,and with same method win a close 300 whp feeling bike..

    So do you have the stp fully open from 2k rpm onwards? Or do you just open them a bit more?
