I’m thinking of getting a catch can as well, just got my 22 hellcat charger wb, and it’s at 550 miles, thinking of doing it after my first oil change passing the breakdown period,
It's because so many owners won't check them, so when it fills up, the engine has o high change of slurping up a huge gulp of oil. Has nothing to do with emissions.
I would think so because the hose you connect to the block is where the oil comes in from and the other connection allows air to recirculate back through the intake. Maybe someone can explain it better 👍🏾
My concern is… if your dumping that catch can, aren’t you losing some of the volume of oil that your engine is holding over a period of time and wouldn’t you have to top off your oil ?
Good question Eddie. Basically that oil that's collected would be sent to the engine combustion chamber. So it would be burnt and lost anyways. This system helps to prevent that so you get a cleaner combustion, thus getting a little better bang.
Very clean engine and great install, perfect video, pleasure to watch, BIG congrats!

Cool mod brother. When you take it back for any warranty work don't forget to change it back to OEM. Thanks for sharing JB.
Thanks Ric, and I have it in the trunk just in case 👍🏾
When he said flux capacitor me as a not 100% car literate person was like I know this is a joke but he sounds pretty serious and is actually looking
Seems like there should be some clamps holding those hoses on?
Nope they are very secure
I think so too.
I would
I went about 4000 miles on my Vette and it had about a teaspoon amount. 👌🏻
Jeez that’s really good, I should have brought gloves so I could have shown you how much was in mine already....
I'm surprised Doge hasn't implemented their own catch can. Great vid 👍
Unfortunately it’s emissions....
@@JB_WhoWork So when you go for emissions test do ypu have to remove it?
I can’t speak for a rare case but in MD our emissions only look for check engine lights and catalytic converters

Very informative video thank you very much!
Clean install bro 👏🏽
Thanks man!
Great content! Thank you for sharing
Thanks 👍🏾
I thought the 2020 hellcats came pre-installed with a factory type catch can on the right side of the engine bay.
I wish 👍🏾
The 2022 hellcats do

I am getting a jailbreak and highly considering after seeing this video
I got a video of a 392 coming soon, guy bought it super used and the intake manifold was covered in burn off… well worth the investment
I see we still haven’t removed the pink bumper guard yet
Lol! It’s gone but I’m holding on to it just in case 😜
JB Reviews You know I’m watching don’t you. Lol
Lol! I think you should go back and watch the last Charger video I did 👀
If it's 80$k it should come with the car
Yea but this is emissions stuff to keep car compliant...
Thank you thank you
You don’t need to check it , just empty it every oil change and your good....
Thanks, I’ve checked it 3X and only a small amount is in so I will do that moving forward!
Never heard your update on this?
I sold it already 😅 It worked great and had a good bit of mixture in it after about 3000 miles
Nice mod I want to put one on my 6.4 hemi ram but can't find anyone who makes one yet
You may have to go universal and do something custom. I’m sure a performance shop could fabricate something for you easily 👍🏾
Get a universal catch can . Go to your auto shop and find tubes to get the length needed. And hose clamps.
I’ve I just did mine last night does it matter which hoses goes where into the catch can
