I came across this video today and what a delightful person you are. So jolly and so full of the Christmas spirit. I so enjoyed watching you sew your Christmas stockings. And learned a few new tips. '70's! When I watched this stocking video, it brought back memories from my old sewing and quilting days and Xmas's past. My first wall hanging was done from your book and my love of sewing & quilting has been with me over the years. THX for the memories, too!

This is just awesome that you've posted this video. I watched this show a long time ago and just uncovered my autographed book about two weeks ago. I just pulled it out earlier today because I was fairly sure there were stocking patterns in it but I hadn't had a chance to check yet. All of your ideas are wonderful! However, I was admiring your vest and wondering if you made it. If so, could you do a tutorial on how to make a vest...I am new at sewing and quilting, and haven't been brave enough to try that yet. Thanks for the vid on stockings....so cute.

I love the crazy quilted version your sister made, do you by any chance have the tutorial or pattern for the blocks for it, I can't find it anywhere, I would love trying it as I have 10 people I need to make stockings for and want to make new ones for my family this year and want to use this pattern for the adults and the stripped one for the kids
Darlene Rousseau actually you kan easely make the crazyquilt pattern as long as you start with a square the first line that you should make is the one that devide the two three part sections in your head divide the whole square into four strips start your line one strip in to the second to last imaginary line, then take one of the three part section and divide in your head the long side in three draw the line there, and the other three section part you devide the longest side in half and the last part you devide in half in the coresponding way and there you go.

Does anyone know the size of the strip stocking? I see a link for one that appears to be the smaller "grandparents" one. I need the size of the one with the 14" strips. I don't see it in the video. Thank you!
