I do not think so mera 12 th complete hua hai mere class ke 95% logo ko nhi pata + kai relatives and neighbourhood me bhi nhi. I.A.S. Ki job ka pata nhi hota bas bolte upsc karlo. Achi baat hai aapko pata hai. And aek baat hai meri coaching me jitne iim ki preparation kar rahe the unme se most of logo ko pata tha. Toh wo toh depend karta hai person kitna knowledge le raha hai.
See the thing is nobody knows .... You actually have to get yourself into it to test the water ... What I meant to say is jab aspirant bante hai tab padhai karte karte bohot si responsibility and power ki samjh aati hai jo koi bhi civil servent not particularly IAS har civil servant hold karta hai ..... Realisation is a part of your journey from being aspirant to an officer.
These days half of the you tube channels are for promoting upsc coaching. It's a big business now. No other country I have heard of have such generic method of selection for government positions.
the beauty of Indian gov exams [not only UPSC], are that they are really tough & challenging to compete and get. If you crack a gov exam in India, man you can do anything in this entire world with some preparation. i love challenges hence i am preparing for one.

I completed my masters in mathematics...my dad ,just because his cousin is ips ...enrolled me into a upsc coaching class without discussing with me....thinking ki baut high profile job ..naam bnega ...baut smjhaea ki dad i like to teach maths ye mere smjh ke baahr ae ...he said ,"kea hi kia asaan sa subject pkd ke degree krli"
that's exactly what I am being told now. They're not realising we have our own dreams to pursue... and khud satisfaction kabhi nahi milegi itne paise ke baad jab end me lagega ki isse acha toh teacher hi bann jaate at least khush toh rehte.
Why does the upsc exam ask all non sense questions on non sense subjects ? This is stuff that anyone can easily google but you never have to cause the actual job has nothing g to do with it .. This is a basic administrative job … only the most incorruptible people from any faculty who has done graduation should be eligible … everything else is learnt on the job anyways

the exams are tough and there are honest and capable and dishonest and non meritorious people in every profession .But when it comes on administrative part ,barring usually rich states plus metros like delhi ,Mumbai Chennai the situation in many districts specially far flung areas and poorer states is pathetic .in some areas ,ground water are having carcinogenic contaminants ,people die of dj sounds ,expiry products ruling ,the resource and brain drain from poor to rich states further bringing economic disparity .Problems are many and I feel politicians ,administrators and public should work together with resolve to bring a rising India rise even further .Thanks 🙏

Sir from last few months I am suffering from a problem and the problem is:- Back in 2021 West Bengal Police Constable 2020 recruitment was published and I applied there and after PRELIMS PET Mains and Interview exam I was selected as a constable on 19th May 2023. Sir now I am pursuing my graduation in ECONOMICS HONOURS and currently I am in 4th semester. I want to also complete my ECONOMICS HONOURS course which is about to finish in next one year. Now my question is sir:- 1) Can I continue my remaining semester while in a job (CONSTABLE) ? 2) If yes then how can I complete it ? From whom I may ask for permission or No objection certificate ? 3) Will it be valid later in another GOVT job like UPSC after completing graduation in that way ?

Ask from No objections certificate from police department, kindly ask them if they can wait.
