Isn’t it incredible what music can do to your soul?
Yes, it is. It's amazing to me how I can play music, listen to music and music has been one of the biggest catalysts for everything and every decision I do in my life, all of my life. But this reaction channel has. even broadened my perspective on music. I won't say knowledge. Well, yeah, we'll I have learned more about how music is created, produced culturally balanced. This has been full circle for me in my musical experience And I appreciate each and everyone of you for that.
That is the best version of this song I grew up with the original and have heard John Farnham sing it both with and without Jimmy.
Who knew an acoustic version could be so epic? It's like they hit the "unplugged" button and turned it up to 11!

Ordinarily when you react to Barnsey (or Farnsey) we would always recommend LIVE versions. However when you react to Flame Trees, I would recommend the official video for the “storytelling” aspect. Great song 😀

I prefer the original album version I listened to for 30 years before this tour. This is a bit too stripped back and accoustic for me. But whatever floats ya boat
Yeah, I've never had a lot of well, to put it, frankly, success with doing any kind of studio version of any Aussie music. Like me myself, I enjoy Bow River, the studio version better. But the live version was better for a reaction. I must admit, you have me curious. I'm going to go listen to the studio version.
