holy fuck, this is the first time ive ever seen footage of Ian Curtis talking. Ive only ever seen pictures of him, or videos of live performances, i know there are recorded interviews but those are only sound.

Got a feeling there's more to come, Ian singing with his coat on belongs to this footage and had sound, and Rob Gretton bobbing about to the rehearsal, so this is more rehearsal room footage still, we see Rob having a piss in these snippets, so looks like more Bowden Vale was filmed too, thought only 4 songs where filmed , got a feeling the rehearsal footage will come out in better footage too, hoping it's deliberately damped down in quality as a teaser, I could be wrong on all, just hoping that's all, just seems that just when we think we have it all, bang something like this pops up, like In A lonely place came out on the box CD set, Peter Hook said that's the only version he had and the tape had ran out at end, something like that, then Bang years again later the end of song appears then the entire song, ,, fingers crossed eh
We need the entire footage from the plan k concert as well, don't know why they didn't release it yet

The most amazing thing for me in all this is the shock at how young the audience were at Bowden Vale. I mean, I know it was a Youth Club but these were children!

Now this one is a rare find.
Very stunning to see as pieces have been seen, but this has far more of it. Hope more of this comes to light. Weird they have used the Bowden vale audio? I know the rehearsal has audio from it with rob Gretton interview that is near impossible to make out from the initial Whitehead flick. Is there a planned official release of Malcolm’s video as the 4 members videoed like this is amazing in such candid manner😊

The holy grail (...along with Plan K, the Closer rehearsal tapes Hooky has, the UP outtakes rescued from the skip and the supposed studio version of Ceremony).

video footage, yes, but there is some audio footage. Back in the 1980s I bought a picture disc with the interview on it - I still wish I had it, but I'm guessing I sold it.

It's out on its own dvd in the Box Set called Wear Ear Protection
This footage is not included in the recently issued Factory records Wear Ear Protection big yellow Boxset - only the Liz Naylor -Charles Salem, No City Fun film which was part of the Factory Flick is included on the dvd.

Только взгляды на жизнь одинаковые и были, по крайней мере у Моррисона с Кобаном. А от Яна я не слышал схожих мыслей, по моему, он вообще ничего никогда о жизни и о музыке не высказывал.
