This reminds me of an incident when I met a random stranger at a café. Some of my friends were discussing their legitimate web development business and their clients in the States. The stranger overheard and offered us part of his office space, mentioning he was also interested in investing. We asked what he did at his office, and he bluntly replied, "Scam Call Center." We were stunned and thought we might have misheard him. When we asked again, he confirmed, "I run a scam call center."
Shocked by his honesty, my friend hesitantly asked, "yeh ghalat ni hota?" He replied, "nahi tou, yeh tou hamara kaafiro k khilaf jihad he. Agar call pe koi musalman aa jaye tou ham uske sath ni kertay." We tried to explain to him how wrong this was on so many levels, but he justified it by saying their victims' financial institutions refund them for fraudulent transactions, so they weren't doing anything wrong.
This encounter really highlighted the moral state of some people. May Allah guide us all.

This is a confused nation of people since 1947? 😂
I am shocked to know about it..some of my relatives who were simple low middle class have risen to much higher status through call center business. Surprisingly there is no counter from USA or EU countries to curb this fraud business...to protect their citizens ...this is a booming fraud business in India,Pakistan,Bangladesh and other far east countries. I know this bubble would burst one day sooner or later as crime at such mass scale never flourish. Thanks for such valuable video

I'm glad you're covering this important topic. Scams originating from India are now affecting Pakistan as well. Many call center workers are unaware of their involvement in these schemes, thinking they are just doing their jobs. One of my friend invest in gawader about 500000 dollars. .he was owner of big restauranter. Then i ask him after 18 years . He told me that seaside erya he buy property .his dream was to open hotel and clubs 😅. In gawader city 😅. I told him don't do it? Today he's just driving taxi. He lost enough money 💰

I got same offer from Pakistan 4 months ago. When those people told me how many and how quickly money will be coming.
It's not possible in real world. I sense something definitely wrong so i rejected their offer.
Every 2nd week i receive calls of cousins, friends and many people for different things like that

I live in Karachi Pakistan. Few weeks ago a guy used a fake ID on my friend's name and his picture, he call me on Facebook messenger and said give me your Bank account number I transfer you EUROS because to pay someone who live in Punjab. I was surprised that why he transfer me first and I pay to another guy. I understood that something wrong cooking. So I excuse to him then I contacted to my friend he said that someone hack his ID and used it for scam.

It appears that u are on fault on first place , u should buy dealerships from xfinity and at&t legally and then start geniune call center instead of giving ur banking information like that

I read a stat 1 year ago. At that time, the scam revenue in india via call centers was greater than whole Pakistan budget. This desease is entrying in Pakistan too. Sad.

Although we have seen couple of videos where people hacked Indian call centers and showed their camera’s.

Bhai our influenciels are involved in this sort of fraud, I am also a victim of this, Facebook pages are full of fraudulent adds, but our regulatory bodies are not taking any action.

Few years ago after completion of my Masters I joined a call center in Islamabad , after spending whole night with them next morning I understood that it should not be called business thats Fraud , Scam.
The industry definitely has a potential as many call center business are legit and paying good as compared to the local market but as a responsible citizen its out duty to do the right thing.
اس طرح کی کالوں والے کاروبار کی آفر وہ ہی قبول کرتے ہیں جن کے دل میں بغیر محنت اور پیسہ لگائے امیر ہونے کا شوق ہو۔مجھے بھی پاکستان سے بہت سے لوگوں نے رابطہ کیا لیکن میرا دل اور دماغ اس بات کو قبول نہی کر سکا حلال رزق خون پسینہ بہا کے حلال کمایا جاتا ہے۔ یہ جو دن دوگنی اور رات چوگنی پیسہ دینے والے سبز باغ دکھا رہے ہیں وہ صرف دو نمبری کر رہا ہے۔اگر میں بھی لالچ کرتی تو میرا بھی یہی حال ہوتا یقیناً لالچ بری بلا ہے۔

I also keep getting calls from some desi people asking me to give them any bill and they will pay my bill but they will charge me half of what they have paid.when I asked them details they said they have store coupons and gift cards etc which are expiring soon that why they are consuming those at half price..

In your story i didnt see any scam because the guest lost nothing, as he told that in the end 30000 dollars was his account balance and he got the cheque issued by bank it shows that he earned 30000.

Its not only that individuals are performing such criminal activities, but even the gov't too is involved to an immense extent. Yes this true i have been receiving calls, insurance scam they have all our information even our health insurance. Since business are outing source to companies all over the world. Like Credit companies, billing companies, utility companies, call goes overseas and they are asking your personal infromation to verify records which we never provide in US.
