Honestly. As funny as this video is, it's also genuinely... sigh.. Depressing feels like a strong word, but it bums me out a bit. It's not as if anyone's stopping people from getting to know others and finding a partner but I don't know. It feels so weird once you're not in school or currently at a job. This guy says a lot without saying much. Honestly, the best piece of advice I've ever heard is to stop trying to make getting a girlfriend a goal to be achieved. Like, a thing to be checked off. You should be looking at women like slightly different people rather than goals. Once I stopped putting women on a pedestal separated from men, it's been easier to talk to them. Even got a girlfriend out of it. Does wonders.
Edit: I made this halfway through. He's absolutely right about self care, though. The gym isn't that hard to attend, from a former fatass myself.

It IS a goal to be checked off. If I go on a walk to the store, I'm not suddenly going to be buying a candy bracelet out of nowhere. If I'm in that aisle, if I'm picking up that item, I'm doing so with a goal in mind. Maybe not the goal of that exact specific product, but a goal that orients around that object's traits in some major way. If I don't have that goal, I'm not picking up that candy.
The guy who approaches no women, gets no women. I can drop gaming entirely, spend my life at the gym except when I'm making day-trades at the stock market or quietly counting my physical gold bar and diamond collection gained from said day-trading, and admiring my 14 incher... It don't mean jack if you're not seeking a girl.
The story of "oh, it just happened" actually being "it just happened" is EXTREMELY RARE. If you have a girl you like, who likes you, and you've been hanging out for 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 years? Make making her your girlfriend a goal to be achieved. Because if another guy comes along, and DOES do so, high chances she'll go out with him, because you don't seem interested, or aren't "Getting her signals", because you DO have to make a move, you DO have to act with a goal in mind. A relationship is WORK. It is EFFORT. A wedding ring doesn't just appear from the aether out of convalesced good feels, someone needs to buy it, with a GOAL, with an EFFORT, with a box to be checked off, of getting that relationship.
