My most productive work life hack is to work early in the morning, at my office (not home), before checking any email, voicemail, text, chat. I’m usually the first one there and I can really buckle down in the quiet to get a lot done. Btw, I’m an introvert 😊
Dear Kim - there is no shame in being an introvert- many people waste too many of those seconds that Jim referred to earlier in the video, trying to remain relevant to other people. That consumes a huge amount of brain energy.
Same here. I don't care what people say. I know myself well. I'm a healthy and smart, loving and caring person. I enjoy being with a few people. True and honest
I'm software engineer and I work remotely. What helps me be productive throughout the day is that I get to love the tasks I'm asked to do, like they are some sort of entertainement for me. That helps me loose stress. Today, I have a task to upgrade an application server in production for a client. I find it joyful just by starting to gather the requirements in order to do the migration. Like in a video game for example, where you have to search for items or ingredients or complete a quest in order to be able to have the power needed to win a challenge and move forward.
Tauheedah here - Wow! That was so good Jim, Thank you so much! What moves the needle for me, my productively hack: Getting up super early 4am, because I feel more prepared and I can do more in a day. Going to bed 2-3hrs before deep sleep so I can unwind and relax and write in my journal and plan for the next day. I love deep work sessions and snack breaks Love working when its bright light, sun-shinning outside-not always possible but I push through Getting 8hours of sleep Seeing and feeling progress for example when working out when I feel the pain in my abs, things that bother me don't bother me as much anymore-Seeing Growth And a winning day is when: I study my bible, workout and deep work session in a day. When I get a lot done, I am super pumped, my superpower! Thank you in advance for reading my long message.
To be productive, you need to work smarter, not harder. Managing your 168 (the number of hours you have in a week) can be difficult. Managing multiple 168s can be maddening. For people who handle multiple people and responsibilities, it can all get overwhelming. If you're busy in all facets of your life, the tendency is to take it all on...at the same time. And as long as you're productive and earning money, don't forget to invest because investing creates a safe haven for the future.
Yes, I agree with you on that, because after being productive you definitely get funds from it and to keep the funds flowing without stress, when you have to focus more on investing because it is the key to living better.
@@Bella.Grasso Oh wow, coming across the comments after watching this video makes me very happy. I almost thought myself, my family and relatives had only ever traded with Sherman Williams Trading once. This man is really dominating the shopping area. He is the best I have ever met in the business.
Well, this particular video helps those who have issues with thier studies, also for young ones who are lazily killing thier time doing nothing..If they take interest n determination can succeed...Miracles always happen..God is great...
One hack for me, if I'm watching RUclips to learn, is to go full screen so I don't get distracted by comments, or other things I could watch down the righthand side of the screen.
What keeps me going is truly hydration. As simple as it sounds, it keeps me going the most while working from home. It keeps me from mindlessly eating. I have to take brain breaks to refill. It’s good for digestion since I sit most of the day, and obviously it keeps me hydrated. I try to alternate from hot and cold beverages to keep it interesting.
Just want to say you are an inspiration to me. Some times i feel like the boy with the broken brain, and seeing how you over came your issue help me believe that I can do it too. Lord Jesus bless you and your family
My issue is consistency. I would study for 3 hours straight on Monday and feel good about it but then it’s hard to maintain that the rest of the week. I love the mental break idea because I do hit a wall.
My worst habit is that I’m watching this in my home office while working at home…😂 My best habit though is that I recently learned how to set my iPhone so that I can’t get notifications and can’t use apps for the first 3 hours of my day so that I can only focus on the tasks in front of me (other than a few exceptions like texts from my wife or emergency phone calls). It actually helps a great deal with my focus (as that and my memory are the qualities where I need the most work).
As a RUclipsr and filmmaker, I have to write a lot of scripts and original content. Sometimes, I feel like my work bench isn't stimulating my creativity, and so I go to my sister's room to work. There's just something about that environment - the yellow lighting and cozy feel - that gets me flowing. So that's kinda my hack
I change my phone settings to black and white during the day. It helps me stay off my phone. I also use a standing desk and walking pad for a portion of the work day. And walking helps me focus more.
Great video I watched this multiple times and kept learning something new 😊 What moves the needle for me is my timer on my phone. So if I really need to focus on a task or project to achieve at least my mini goal of it, I put an hour on my timer of my phone display it next to my pc/monitor to keep me focus cause I see the clock ticking down tells me finish whatever you have left then stop for the day or if I feel I can push 1 more hour then I will. I just need to commit doing this daily but at least it’s pushing me to move forward vs procrastinating and making excuses. Or like you said change my environment to get something done. So I book a private room at a library for blocks of time and it’s free!
My favorite productivity hack is doing the most important task of my day in the begging, so I can feel better about myself and my goals. Nice video, Jim. Hi from Brazil. 👋
I feel more productive when I wake up early. But recently I’ve been failing to do that, and staying late at nights upsets me. Your video has reminded me that I really need a structure and organization of my life with routine, schedule and time management. So I’m going to develop my super power of an early bird and change my routine 😅
Thank you for all this lesson (and others)! I find your contents very helpful, sort of my super power source these days. Your thoughts are thought-provoking, helps me to internalize and work on improving specific aspects of my habits, life. My productivity hack is focus music, yes, without lyrics when I'm on work mode. I procrastinate and then get down on myself because like you said I am lacking awareness in this by not being organized. Thank you! Needed clarity and will try to add to my life.

This app called Immersed has an environment where the music goes with the beats. Plus there is a community that does timed poromodos together when we are all in the Discord server. Work is not as lonely no more that's for sure!
First thing i do is try not to not rush and clean my work station at home and take time to organize. A good example last night really bad night of sleep and today i am off track but i did took a nap watch your video and calm myself i miss part of day but rest of the week will be better . 😀
I switch off my mobile phone and put it in another room at the end of the apartment to minimize distraction because my brain loves to see the mobile phone. And I use earplugs so I can work in silence. I need this zero-distraction environment to get into the focus tunnel.

For me it is tremendously helptful to consume all content at least at 2x speed. One day an epiphany overcame me and I just started watching at 1.25x, some I could directly watch at 1.5 or even 1.75x speed. Now after months I am even able to watch some ppl at 3x and it really really helps me as I have been living with depression for a long time and had somehow trouble concentrating my whole life which got even worse over time. And years ago I even wondered why one would even want to consume content at faster speeds tho having shorter gaps between the words really is key for me being able to focus more : D Oh and this combined with audiobooks has really really helped me a lot! I went from not consuming books because I was not able to read them without getting super mega tired while at the same time having all kinds of negative thought-speed-trains rushing trough my head to having listened to so many books in the last two years it is hard to remember them all!! Makes me super grateful! One Love! Always forward, never ever backward!! ☀☀☀ 💚💛❤ 🙏🏿🙏🙏🏼
Bro I hate to break it to you but 3x speed doesn’t sound healthy in my opinion 😂 you can’t take it in and process that information properly with that speed (this comes from a person who also listens to things faster)
Quite impressive but HOW!!?😊 I know it's possible, my colleague at work always get 40K every week, I would appreciate if you show me how to go about it.

Working under little pressure.
Most productive time is my willpower reserves are still intact, prior to undertaking any other tasks. Andrew Huberman makes an interesting point around peak work time being 4hrs after waking. Now after months I am even able to watch some ppl at 3x and it really really helps me as I have been living with depression for a long time and had somehow trouble concentrating my whole life which got even worse over time.
And years ago I even wondered why one would even want to consume content at faster speeds tho having shorter gaps between the words really is key for me being able to focus more : D
Oh and this combined with audiobooks has really really helped me a lot! I went from not consuming books because I was not able to read them without getting super mega tired while at the same time having all kinds of negative thought-speed-trains rushing trough my head to having listened to so many books in the last two years it is hard to remember them all!! Makes me super grateful!

Always forward, never ever backward!!

Bro I hate to break it to you but 3x speed doesn’t sound healthy in my opinion 😂 you can’t take it in and process that information properly with that speed (this comes from a person who also listens to things faster)
I'm having trouble remembering it, but I turn on captions to aid in the quest

*Despite the financial instability all over the world, I’m so excited I’ve been earning $45,000 from my $10,000 investment every 10days...*
Quite impressive but HOW!!?😊 I know it's possible, my colleague at work always get 40K every week, I would appreciate if you show me how to go about it.
@@allisonsmith179 After I got up to $300k trading with Mrs Mary Lynn Crawford i bought a new House and I'm now able to send my kids to a better school in the states thanks to her. When someone is straight forward with what he or she is doing people will always speak up for them.
Her good reputation already speaks for her last month i invested over $100,000 with her and I've already made over $250,000 profit.
@@helenjames9973 Oh please, how can someone get to speak with Mrs Mary Lynn Crawford!!?
