It's very interesting that for most of the middle game, Alireza was actually at a slight disadvantage, and Magnus came in the studio for an interview (his match vs Hikaru finished early) and said that he thought Alireza would be very happy with this kind of position where he's slightly worse than his opponent, because it will give him the space to use tactics to create chances for a win. And it was exactly how it turned out. That checkmate threat that led to the white queen's capture was just incredible.
Alireza showing the difference between him and the other youngsters . Nordirbek is extremely tricky and puts up obdurate defense in inferior positions and manages to draw or even win . But Alireza didn't give Nordirbek even a sliver of a chance and took home the full 3 points .

Of course. It's the same reason why we watch human chess instead of computer chess. We watch superGM tournaments over IM, NM, FM or WIM tournaments not because superGMs are better but because they're better but still human. This is why superGMs are more popular than computers. The white knight in a4 did exactly nothing for all the game. Alireza even didn't defend it, but he didn't get time to take it. It was a huge blunder for this position
