In my opinion, the best part about pragg is that he doesn't hesitate to play bold moves even against top players like magnus and hikaru and also if he feels that he can put pressure on the board he believes in his abilities and starts attacking rather than going defensive like other youngsters or 2600s,well played 🎉

6:50 I was just thinking that GM are not some silly persons & so they probably never get their queens or pieces get pinned in a game & then soon Hikaru does gets his queen pinned 😂🙃.
This makes me realize that even GM do make mistakes sometimes. Being GM doesn't mean you'll not make mistakes but it is to think of out of the box ideas to counter the tragic situations and try to get the best position in the game. This thing motivates me to get better in Chess.
I just got 1300 elo in chess ,I know it's not that great right now but I'll trying hard to get better in this.
Love Hikaru and His videos btw ❤🇮🇳.

Hikaru plays chess so that he can create content. He does not create content so that he can play. Putting this video out is more important to him than the result of the match.

Thanks for being consistent and producing content even after losses. I stayed up to see the Tie break rapid games after a 10 hour closing shift at work and seeing Japan eliminated from WWC 2023. I was tired, in a bad mood and hoping night would finish on a high. That said, the games were still interesting even after the opening prep blunder in game 1. It's nice to see the thought process that you go through when the odds are long and the chips are down. In life we often face long odds but we still push and try and learn. Great example on how to be in tough times. Credit to Pragg for maintaining his composure and finding the right moves at such a young age in those moments. It was still worth staying up till about 7 AM PDT .

you are super good! BUT your attitude? not so much tbh, just don't say "I could have done this & that, I was not in the right mindset etc." Like just accept it on stage please. How do you know Pragg was in the best of the best of his mindset either? you just made mistakes. It's not the first time you are doing this, watched a lot videos of yours as soon as Magnus made a silly mistake and you won you are like DAMN I AM THE ONE! like what if you won against Magnus just because he was not in the right mindset that time too? So stop giving explanations like these it's like you are giving half hearted credits to the talented opponents.

Nakamura was a giant over the board, as always (but seems stronger each day). It is a treasure to be able to hear what a super GM thought at every game stage, a few hours after watching the game and trying to imagine what he was thinking (naturally, I fall far from his vision, every single move). Nakamura is a wonderful, extremely rare player+streamer combination.
