    • @ekki1993
      @ekki1993 2 года назад +1

      @ChessDejavu Maybe for people with the access to "the right training", or for those of us who play since we were kids. For most people it's a lot of effort to get to be top 10-15% in a platform where most players have formal chess education.

    • @ekki1993
      @ekki1993 2 года назад +1

      @ChessDejavu But you studied the openings, reviewed games by masters, had access to the lots of good bots that exist nowadays. It really is a lot of effort for a lot of people.
      And, going back to the original comment, a lot of people don't even care that much to climb. Personally, having played since being 4-5 (a LOT of it over the board), I found that chess is the most fun when people don't know opening theory. Sometimes being smarter includes realising you wouldn't have fun grinding to 2000 and you'd rather stay below 1500 at 30 years old.

    It's so weird how a genamdaster sacrifices a queen, 2 rooks, and a bishop for 1 square so it can control 1/64tg more of the board. It's like they care more about positioning thr pieces than the actual lead

    Pragg in the thumbnail looks like the "overly attached girlfriend" meme. The overly attached chess player. "I'd never sacrifice you, my queen"

    You should make a Chess video analysing the worst game played between two GMs, and pretend that they're two 800 rated player and see if people notice.
