So I decided to download the Windows 11 23h2 pro version from Microsoft and install it on my 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750G laptop. All went smoothly, and it's not showing signs of any problems 😀.
I bypassed Microsofts compatability checker to allow the installation process. It has also been activated with Microsoft 😀.
Not bad for a 12 year old laptop which specs are, Acer Aspire 5750G running i5-2450M 2.5GHz with turbo boost to 3.1GHz, 750GB HHD, 8GB DDR3 memory, it's nothing special by today's standards but when I bought it 12 years ago it was of good specification and it wasn't cheap!!
Everything loaded smooth but didn't come up yet to sign in to window 11. Can please help me or explain how to make window come back log in thanks.

if we select "keep personal files only" then does it delete data on other drives or just the c drive data
After upgrade to windows 11 (from unqualified pc/laptop & original software). It can as usual automatically update windows 11 or it can't? Must do manual after that?
On mine, I found it doing automatic updates after the initial installation had finished. Some updates were huge due to the time it took to download and install them.
Anyways, the laptop has never been so perfect, and I'm very happy that I went from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro 23H2.

I'm trying to install Windows 11 in my VirtualBox because I want to watch it for awhile for malicious activity without letting it really reside on my hardware. But I have not been successful. I've got more than a year left on my Windoze 10, so I'm not too worried yet. 10 works fine on VirtualBox, even on linux but I'm still working on 11.
