Don't blindly pick what you always pick. this is a great tip, and I wish people who play battlefield also follow this tip, too many times you see people play the same thing over and over, although i have not tried squadrons yet i can see it now there will be many rounds of everyone using an interceptor because incterceptor goes BRRRRT, team games require a balanced team to generally win. (also this is my creation yt acc and i realised its not subbed so heres your 2nd sub from me lol)

Amazing tips thank you ...here's a small for your videos..in tip 29 you tell us us to look inside the ship to look at hud , it would be great if u had a visual like an arrow cause i don't know wich hud it is ..i see 3 of them , is it just one of them or do i need to use all 3 for that tip...thanks again your tips really work
Get that flight stick with the VR. The hotas ($80) is back in stock 🤩 . Its like having a disney ride in your living room
Tip #41, let the devs know that the Aviator control layout, or any custom layout that binds pitch/roll on the same stick is BROKEN! Pitch+Roll speed is super slow when you assign pitch and roll on the same stick, but it's full speed when assigned on different sticks (the other first person shooter friendly layouts). This means that anyone who likes traditional flight sim controls will be at a disadvantage because of a bug they won't address. What were they thinking?
The issue is fixed now. You could work around it by swapping x and y axis with z and z rotation.
Honestly though the game is literally designed to have pitch and yaw on the stick for aim.
Just like Rebel Assault 1 and 2 and the Tie vs Xwing games.
Im a flight sim guy and swapped roll and yaw before even playing the game. After a few hours I switched back and would never change it.
@@chemeister The issue is not fixed on controllers, only on flight sticks perhaps? I wouldn't know seeing as I've been trying to find a flight stick ever since I bought Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, but they're all sold out. And there is no workaround for controllers, that workaround only worked for flight sticks. EA_Tom acknowledged the issue, but he never put it on the list of known issues and is ignoring us now. I guess not enough people complained so it's getting swept under the rug.

@@danyel_k Well yeah, that's what you have to do. However, I think if they're not gonna fix the Aviator control layout, then they should remove that option from the game since it's not working correctly. How many people who prefer pitch/roll on the same stick will see that option and just play the game without ever realizing they're at a technical turn rate disadvantage compared to the other players? They really should fix it to be honest so that people who like the Ace Combat/Elite Dangerous style controls don't have to get used to a new control style. Either fix it so it works properly, or don't put it in the game at all. Its like false advertising.

Nothing to do with being a noob but damn is it annoying when a enemy player soaks up damage like a sponge to no effect.
You should play vehicles in battlefield games sometimes too.
Tip from war thunder player for flying don't go for a head on EVER because it's always a bad idea....
Depends, Y wing does a ton of damage, just put your shields to the front and you will outgun everyone
Small correction Tie Bombers with the assault shield and Y-wings can get away with it, the rest if them not so much.
Most of the time yeah bad idea. But there are times where it your being chased being able to boost drift and counter attack will save you and get you a kill. Managed to do that with a TIE interceptor against an A wing.

Hey anyone who bought this game! Do you use joysticks on your standard vr controller or do you actually get to move your hands to control it?
you forgot about how important drifting is, like say you are getting chased instead of trying to turn put everything in speed spin to avoid bullets whilst charging boost and then you can drift and end up right behind the enemy then you can put all power into bullets and kill them super fast without them realising what happened.
I watched the first 13 seconds loaded in and won

But I've heard that there's some issues with hotas ingame?
@@master_ace Yes there is a 20% deadzone on the x and y axes, they have to patch that (x52 pro user)

Kind of. Like I hit a guy with an Ion Missile while he was boosting and he continued to drift off 1k away from me before his systems kicked back on.
Not as a much as like in Elite Dangerous. It has auto stabilizing so if you kill the engines you stop instead of moving along. Also the use of "drifting" is different. In elite Dangerous you just turn off flight assist and glide around, in Squadron you have to boost first and then drift

Been playing this game today......this has to be THE WORST Star Wars game i've ever played. I haven't enjoyed a minute of it. The controls are shit, the lock on system is shit, the multiplayer is biased towards the republic fighters, I could go on and on. Fire these developers. I have some serious buyer's remorse.
